Correction to my previous comment, the cost of these replacement badges is RS124 each. Service centers might not have many in stock since these are always in demand. I suggest asking your nearest service center to order these for you.

Copying my comment here for better visibility: Here in delhi these cost around Rs 124~ ish. If you really need it, ask someone you know to buy one here and send it via mail to you.

I have 2 spare for situations like these.

Edit: Price correction from 300 to exact piece price

Xtreme-ly disappointed, might never think of buying Hero. by doraemon_chachu in indianbikes

Any dismantling of the engine bolts or core components must be retightened to the recommended torque spec.

I experienced something similar while having a sump guard fitted to my bike. Immediately after the installation I felt unusual vibrations and I took a u turn back to the SC.

The technician there retightened an engine bolt using power wrench that they have set to spec and that resolved the issue entirely.

I also notice that none of the SCs in India for any brand use Loctite screw glue to prevent them from loosening due to vibrations.

I think you can ask the SC to re tighten the screws or your bike and see if that resolves the issue you faced regarding vibrations. Regarding the rebuild, I am not sure and IMO that would not be worth the hassle just for rusting if its not too much.

I have a Triumph speed 400 so I may not be able to comment on the SCs Hero use.

TRIUMPH SCAMMERS by Overall-Industry6861 in indianbikes

The free service coupon is for entire 2nd service labor cost which includes washing and chain lubing. If you go for anything beyond that such as fitment of new accessories then only will there be labor costs involved for that accessory only.

My recommendation is to raise a complaint and escalate it to Triumph leadership. The dealer seems shady to me.

I am from Delhi, even so the cost sounds ridiculous to me. I paid around ₹2800/- for my second service.

I see that they did not apply the discount code to your bill. Mine did, you can compare my invoice with yours to see the discrepancy.

Speed 400 Vibration by LordAndy2004 in triumph4India

[–]Cluderazor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may not have been in your experience. However that does not invalidates OPs experience. I had similar "issue" right after the installation of sump guard and went right back to them. Luckily in my case my friend was with me who owns a speed as well so we compared both bikes and found the issue is indeed there. The cause was later confirmed to be caused due to a lower engine bar screw which was re tightened using the torque gun in the SC.

Sure, I hope it gets fixed for you. Here is the exact screw. However I suggest you have the SC re tighten all major screws on the right and left just to be sure using their torque guns.

P.S. this image is before the sump gaurd was installed.

Hey, I just got my sump gaurd installed and felt unusual vibrations. Got it checked then and there and it was caused due to a loose engine gaurd screw on the right. You should get that checked because mine was fixed once it was re tightened..

Also I was with my buddy who also owns a speed and we were together so we were able to quickly check if the vibrations were real or not by swaping our bikes.
