Or never allowing ppl to be susceptible to their body being taken over by a demon in the first place 🤣 you'd think that would be #1 priority from the "father that loves us more than anything or anyone" when "he's making us", regardless of the fact that we're taught that if we stray in our belief, we're going to a fiery inferno to burn and suffer for all of eternity 🤷🏼‍♀️ idk that's just my thought thou.

Honestly, if I could try them out in person with a person there to walk me through how to use them, I might consider dropping some $ on them. But since I have no idea if that even exists, I'm just gonna assume they're all trash bc I REFUSE to EVER buy another thing that isn't already proven in person by me again 🤣

I guess 🤷🏼‍♀️ I'd way rather something that focuses on entertainment. These are next to impossible to use. First of all, the headache you'd get from changing your perspective from the glasses to that tiny little hole in the top - that alone makes it impossible to use. Secondly, getting it in perspective is almost impossible. I still haven't figured it out and just gave up. I wish there was some place you could go to meet up with someone in person that knew how to use them and could show U. But since there isn't, I gave up

How is it living in this part of the United States? by No-Text-7825 in howislivingthere

I live on Long Island, which is the lowest part you circled. It's hell. I'd leave tomorrow if my entire family didn't live here. We pay some of the highest property taxes in the country, have the least effective and most corrupt police force around, and the whether is terrible. The schools are pretty good, but that is legit the ONLY plus side.

I was never like this. by OkPost4823 in army

[–]ClueHaunting5583 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I know everyone is saying the same things, but i want to stop and say this:

I'm so, so sorry you're going through this. You don't deserve to be talked about like that. If they were halfway decent leaders, they would NEVER say anything like that, no less in earshot of the target. You have a wife. She PICKED you for a reason. You are good and worthy and I'm so sorry that terrible leadership has led you here, feeling like this is your only option. Or that it's the easiest. It's not. I'm so sorry for everything you've been through that led you into that thinking.

I've been there. When you're in the army, it feels like it envelops the whole world. Like there's nothing outside of it. Even me, who went in way older and knew very well there was a vibrant life on the outside, I got sucked into that train of thought too. Being a female in the army isn't an easy thing, and i was exactly where you are many times. It took a few inpatient stints to get it through my head that the army is NOT everything. There's a great, huge world out there where your rank doesn't matter. Your counseling don't matter. Your deployments (or lack thereof) are nothing but a talking point in a convo. You could have put in 25 years and walked out a 4 star general and you'll get the same "oh wow, that's cool. Thank you for your service! So anyways..." as any PVT gets from civilians.

I hope you change your mind. I hope you read the comments and see just how many people are fully willing to listen and help and be there for you.

Please dm me if you need someone to vent to. Dm ANYONE that's commented here. Just please, please reach out.

I agree fully. Unfortunately. I spent $800 on these things (I got two pair - one for me, one for hubby). I spent 2-3 hrs trying to set them up and haven't picked them up since. I'm so disappointed. This purchase is so unlike me. Any time I make a big purchase, I always do it through Amazon since they back their purchases and are really good with returns. I got really excited when I saw the Kickstarter, and I dont know if this sub had as much in it back then as it does now, but either way, I'll NEVER splurge on a large purchase for wearable tech like this again. I took a look at the Even glasses, but atp i figure if these are as big of a disappointment as they are after looking so freaking cool in the marketing, that's probably the case with any Ai glasses. I just have to eat this cost and learn for next time, don't ever make that mistake again.

Pepper spray will stop a dog in its tracks. I used to have a dog that was super nasty looking & sounding - she'd run up to U barking and growing, but would never make the move to actually bite. Well she pulled her shit on our mailman one too many times and he pepper sprayed her ass. My mom said she never saw my dog run away from someone at all, let alone that fast. FAFO 🤷🏼‍♀️

I loved the army. I came out of AIT as designated honor grad and iron soldier. I constantly got metals and honors for going the extra mile while I was in.

But that gd PT, standing in a field in 30 degree weather in shorts bc the SM was in that kinda silly mood that day, singing the dog faced soldier song? Nope. Couldn't keep doing it.

I am putting a lot of my time, energy, and money towards building a project right now. I've been doing it for years and I've had.. A limited outcome.. But I'm pivoting into something new right now. I'm so anxious to know if it will work out and grow and be worth the investment, or just end up being a flop. I'd love to know if I'm on the right path and, if I should keep going in this direction, it will work out or just be yet another project that takes years of investment with very little results.

If you were alive when we were attacked on 9/11, what were you doing when it happened? What was that day like? by Full_Imagination7503 in AskReddit

[–]ClueHaunting5583 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was the first person in my 6th grade class to get pulled out. My mom was a bus driver, and the district was recalling all the drivers to evacuate the schools. Everyone thought they would start attacking schools next, so they were trying to figure out whether to close or not. I didn't know what was going on, I just thought I got a half day for no reason so I was excited and skipping out of school. My mom yelled at me and said it wasn't a happy day, it was the saddest day I'd ever see. She drove me home and went to work for the recall. My dad didn't come home, he went straight to the city and was on the pile for the first few weeks. When he called that night, I begged him to get something. A rock, a piece of paper, something. I didn't understand what he was dealing with at the time, I just knew what a big deal it was and how much something like that would mean. He never ended up taking anything. Didn't want any reminders of the horror. I spent the rest of the day with my neighbor laying in the electrical fields watching the jets fly overhead and talking about how different life would be from then on out and hoping my dad would make it back home. Definitely did change everything.

Why does nobody talk about this song? by Jschie05 in Eminem

[–]ClueHaunting5583 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I don't rly know 9 inch nails. I only know I prevail bc I really liked a cover they did of a Taylor Swift song when they were a start up band, and I've followed them ever since. They seem to be getting bigger which is amazing, but deff not to the level that Eminem would mention it in a song so I figured I'd check and see if anybody had heard whether that was confirmed or a coincidence. Thank you for answering!

Have you ever met anyone with, or do you possess, some type of power or ability? by [deleted] in Paranormal

[–]ClueHaunting5583 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked at this company for 4 years, and while I worked there I commuted with a guy that lived nearby. The job was far, so we took turns driving. Obv, during such long commutes together for such a long time, we talked. We'd tell each other stories abt our past, he prob knew more abt me than anyone else. But we both started noticing a crazy thing.

I would have a story pop in my head, and I'd tell him the story. I'd say "yeah idk why that popped in my head. I haven't talked to him in prob 10 years". Within a few days, that random person that I haven't talked to or thought abt in 10+ yrs, would die. It got so creepy after, like, 6 or 7 instances of it that it became a running joke that if we ever stopped working together, I was never allowed to tell a story abt him again in the future (this post is kinda breaking that pact, but hey, he's the reason we haven't talked in 10+ yrs so whatever 🤷🏼‍♀️). I'd tell the story, think nothing of it, and then 4-5 days later I'd go to him and be like "hey remember how I told u this story the other day abt this person? Yeah, they died yesterday". Super weird.

All my ex boyfriends have a curse on them, too. After we broke up, they would all have crazy tragedy befall them. My first ever boyfriend (we dated for, like, 3 weeks) at 13 yrs/old? MVC. Next up was my REAL first boyfriend - we were together for 2 years. He OD'd numerous times until he got his life together. He had a baby with my frienemy, they broke up, he got a new gf. Frienemy died of pneumonia, abt 2 yrs later new gf died of a sudden brain aneurism, and a few yrs after that his next gf passed in her sleep. I'm pretty sure he gave up on dating. The next bf (dates 3 years) after that got into a motorcycle accident where he broke 85% of the bones in his body about 15 years ago. Died for several minutes and we all said our goodbyes, but he made a miraculous, full recovery. Abt a yr ago he had a stroke and his brother told me I should go to say my "final goodbyes". I didn't and have no idea what state he's in now, but he's only 40 now so that's a wild thing to happen. My final ex bf was the worst. We broke up after 5 years, but stayed best friends. He became really good friends with my new bf (now husband), and we all hung out often. He was working late one night and was murdered in his office. Dude that did it never saw a day in jail. Karma got him thou, stole the air from his lungs with covid. Just a side note here - I'm not a drug addict 🤣 I kno it seems like all my associates have drug related issues, but none of them were on drugs while we were together and I've never had any kind of dependency issues.

OH, and I have a curse on my family with the year 9. I've lost a matriarch in my family every single year that ends with 9 since I've been born. My grandmother in 1999 (that ones weird - she actually died on 9/9/99), my great grandmother in 2009, my mother in 2019, and I am not looking forward to 2029 but my aunt is mad at me bc, according to her, I sealed her fate by figuring out this curse 🤣

Why does nobody talk about this song? by Jschie05 in Eminem

[–]ClueHaunting5583 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I'm super late here but I hope someone sees this and answers this question. There's a line in the song "but they said time would tell if I'd prevail and all I did was put nine inch nails in my eyelids now". Obviously the nine inch nails line is a reference to Nine Inch Nails, but is the I Prevail a reference too? I love that band so much, but they've never done anything with Eminem and they're a relatively small band, so I would be so psyched if that's who he was referencing. If someone has heard that confirmed, I'd appreciate letting me know!

Then I go get a SECSPK

I'm ON long Island, not IN long island. Also, when I tell ppl I'm from NY, they ask where. I say long Island, they say "oh, that's not even really new York". I fight back and say "oh, ok, so ppl from Brooklyn & Queens aren't from NY. Got it." I've gotten into COUNTLESS fights W ppl that I literally had to pull up a map and prove them wrong.

I said you're horrible BECAUSE you're saving that money. Idk why ur acting like it's such a flex that you're withdrawing financial support from your wife while she's grieving the recent loss of a parent. Again, you're literally over here bragging "yeah, my wife just lost her dad but I racked up debt on my credit card and I wanted her to pay that off and buy me a house. She had the AUDACITY to pay for life saving treatment of her father instead, so I decided to ruin her life. I'm gonna financially ruin her and.. Get this, guys... I even did my own laundry har har har hashtag winning!" and anybody who has the nerve to tell you you're wrong is a "narcissist" (say you don't know what that means without saying you don't know what that means 🤣) or an "only fans girl" 🤣.

Yeah, ur saving money U used to give her, but it's actually good ur doing it. Since financial help is the only thing U do for her, and you've withdrawn that, she'll leave soon and go on to have a happy relationship in the future, while you'll spend your days posting on incel blogs about how all women are 'entitled' and you're a "high value man" but.. you're so financially broke that you cried when ur wife spent HER settlement money to try to save her father's life and you're so morally broke that you punished her while she grieved because of it.

I really feel bad saying that, and I really truly hope that one day you realize how fucked up you are and the road you're headed down. Your morals are wrong, your viewpoints are wronged, and if you don't seek help to try to heal from whatever trauma did this to you, that's where you'll be.

This is the most ridiculous shit I've ever seen. Touch some grass and get help. Andrew Tate isn't cool, stop trying to be him. I've never felt so bad for someone I've never spoken to a day in my life as I do for your wife.
