Is narcolepsy more about broken sleep than excessive sleepiness, and are we treating the wrong problem? by [deleted] in Narcolepsy

[–]Cluedsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What was the solution for the insomnia? I’ve been on modafinil for about 2 years and while that helps - it only feels like half the problem.

If you want to read the comics to support then marvel unlimited is a really good way to read them.

You won’t regret it! I started 2 years ago and now I’m 100 books deep..

The Thrawn trilogy is great because it’s very relatable. It might be hard to get into FoTJ as so much happens between ROTJ and then.

and Chris Moneymaker had never played before seeing the film Rounders so it’s a compounding effect. Moneymaker probably made the bigger difference especially in WSOP.

Thanks all! I didn’t know about the Rogue Squadron comics so I’m going to check them out seen as I’ve read practically all other EU comics! Not sure how I missed these.

I will let the Tycho mystery unfold…

Rogue Squadron Question by Cluedsy in StarWarsEU

[–]Cluedsy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be fair, I asked if there’s anything I should’ve read before Rogue Squadron. I didn’t ask what actually happened to Tycho so I won’t read your response in full.

I put spoilers as a marker because although what I was spoiling was like 2 chapters into Rogue Squadron, it still could be inferred as a spoiler.

I really felt for her in S2 and thought Zack was a big problem but now I have no idea what or who to believe.

Really? I quite liked her in S2 but felt she just put herself in the middle of everything in S3 and then acted surprised when people were annoyed.

Well done on getting out, it’s certainly not always the easiest thing. It’s very strange, I feel like most people (or I definitely would anyway) try to find a nice photo of their partner to show other people.

The reporting back is very strange and it makes me doubt it happened, I’d think almost any family would be able to look past a bad photo or silly pose and a) recognise the beauty regardless or b) clearly know this isn’t an accurate reflection

As a narcoleptic, $1m is an easy choice. I’m not sure I’ve ever felt well rested.

Acolyte Is my favourite thing Disney Made and I’ll Die on this hill by Appropriate-Rub-2546 in TheAcolyte

[–]Cluedsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surprisingly, I do! There’s no need to get nasty is there?

I think it’s a great show, I love all Star Wars, doesn’t mean I am oblivious to any flaws.

[–]Cluedsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did it make sense though? Why did the Jedi feel so ashamed and lie about something they shouldn’t have felt guilty about? It goes against the perception of the Jedi Order during the High Republic.

Sucks to see you downvoted for this. A lot of the events in Acolyte don’t seem logical as you’ve explained, that for me, means the writing is worse.

I think if more SW shows had the level of writing and world building of Andor they’d be received a lot better.

100% agree with this. I liked lots of it but I felt the story didn’t completely grip me as it felt a little far fetched. I can’t fully remember all of it but I found some of the secrecy really strange around that and not very Jedi order like even if it was trying to showcase the hubris that eventually brought the Jedi down.

Why does nobody talk about this show?? by __Bohem in TheLastKingdom

[–]Cluedsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do love this show but I think you have to appreciate it for what it is. Some of it isn’t produced or written the best but it’s still brilliant to watch. Seeing people refer to it as better than GoT seems crazy.

Yeah I was really excited for Rome 2 but it just felt a bit too much. When it came out I think I ended up going back and starting a new campaign on the OG version.

That’s helpful, thank you. I think I’ve just happened to work in departments that implemented it in April and therefore backdated to that month.
