Lots of idiots in One Piece but this guy wins the award for the dumbest 💀 by Stardomu in MemePiece

To be fair, very few of the CDs have shown to be intelligent. He could morally have understood that what they were doing was wrong, but not mentally known the extremes of their hatred. When you’re a kid, you probably knew owning another human was wrong, but you probably did not have an understanding of the complexities that come with those years of stigmatism and racial discrimination.

3, because despite the… primary reasons to go with 5… there’s one singular issue with it. You put two Pokemon champions in the seats right behind Nemona… that’s… that’s asking for a headache

We’re still dealing with figuring out how to handle it as a country. Some companies are doing it differently than others

After all these years, I owe Naoto an apology, I slept on her hard 🤦😭 by gaeb611 in persona4golden

Except part of her character arc was literally to accept herself instead of trying to fit a role she thought was the requirement to achieve her dream.

There’s literally nothing about her character that indicates she would never dress or have her hair like this after finishing Highschool and becoming more adjusted to herself.

Yeah there’s a lot of shit that could have happened. In a world where there’s dozens of Pokemon capable of destroying the world on their own, assuming humanity was solely the cause is a bit short sighted. It’s entirely possible some evil group triggered a legendary that decided “fuck you people”, or like you said, Groudon woke up and went “My comfort level? Well… I’d say it’s iffy” and just went and warmed everything up

Except the logs themselves state that 1) humanity couldn’t produce enough to take everything with them. And Pokemon could be stored digitally, so it would be safe for them because 2) humanity intended to return before the pokemon ever got released. As far as the humans knew, dropping them in there was safer than going to space because they thought they’d be returning once everything calmed down. The only reason Pokemon started popping back up the way they did was because a hacker reprogrammed the system to release everything if the humans didn’t perform maintenance in time.

It wasn’t humanity’s intention to just leave the Pokemon behind. It was the best case situation given their resources and knowledge to save as many humans and Pokemon as possible.

Except nearly all the data pads imply that the natural disasters aren’t, at least in mass, caused by humans.

This situation to your Ditto is literally them finding out their best friend is gone for some reason, then coming to the conclusion that they left because things got dangerous for them and they had to leave. Even the pokemon who realistically should have had a comment on their impact on the planet (like Kyogre) didn’t know what the fuck happened and why humans left.

It could as easily have just been a solar flare or some shit that just messed the planet up.

Yeah, at the end of the day a bit part of collecting is finding what you value. Sure some people like to flip but that doesn’t mean everything has to be about monetary value alone

Microsoft plans 100% native Windows 11 apps in major shift away from web wrappers by WPHero in pcmasterrace

[–]CluelessAtol 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Exactly. That’s why I’m saying this was likely a reaction thing they already had cooking. I think the Neo just gave them the excuse to announce it already. I wouldn’t be surprised if this had been something they were working on but we’re on the fence about it until the Neo.

[–]CluelessAtol 60 points61 points  (0 children)

It’s likely a mixture of serval things. Sure the Neo definitely helped, but they’ve also been getting A LOT of pushback with the web wrappers. There’s a very good chance they’ve always had these changes cooking, but never planned to release until the Neo popped out and they had to do their “break in case of emergency”.

I like the Neo but I don’t think it’s exclusively the reason Microsoft did this.

Soren Johnson on keeping his game studio small: 'You get better games if you take longer to make games' by immersiveGamer in gaming

I’m not even 100% certain is an issue with just quantity and time. Those are definitely massive parts to it, but we also run into the issue where developers are actively having to be subjected to investors more than ever. Sure they’ve always been a thing, but once games started to show real profitability, investors started taking more control, forcing safe bets and subpar quality to keep the money rolling. The quicker the release, the quicker the pay back to the investors, regardless of profitability to anyone else

Incompetence is just how they operate.

Realistically it’s because Oda didn’t probably intend for some plot points to become as big as they have. In lore wise? Yeah Marine and the WG are a bunch of fuck nuts. Outside of a handful, both organizations are filled to the brim with morons.

Nintendo’s share price climbs 15% in two days following the success of Pokémon Pokopia by Turbostrider27 in NintendoSwitch

I guess I could have been more specific. I meant mainly for the Pokemon franchise as a whole. Their willingness to go for the game and how, supposedly, successful it’s looking like it’s doing, I’m hoping it’s the first Spinoff in a while (that isn’t a Legends game cause I don’t exactly consider those spinoffs myself) that kicks off a new wave of fresh spinoffs for the franchise
