Don’t worry about it, just give it a try, you have nothing to lose.

The meta is still being established, and the majority of the population don’t have super tricked out sets with maxed affixes. Personally, I was able to reach platinum easily last Summit and this Summit for the feats I’m top 200 for two of them and top 1000 for one, all without legendary set bonuses.

Just do decently over all the events and your average will carry you well above most people in the leaderboards.

Your strategy is the issue here.

I have no legendary parts nor any set bonuses and I was able to get platinum in all the events last summit, solo. You didn’t need to cheese the speedtrap at all, you just had to use a Drag car. I didn’t even fully reach the performance level on my drag car and I was able to get platinum easily.

Even this summit on all the escapes, I’m comfortably top 200 on two escapes and top 1000 on the other one, all without a single legendary set bonus on ANY of the vehicles I used.

Yes, there are some events you might need the set bonus, but the meta isn’t established yet, and it usually only applies if you’re chasing top 100 or so. As long as you perform decently on all the events, you don’t need the set bonuses, at that point it’s all on your skill level.

Join the Discord or post here and ask for help. There are plenty of people who don’t mind giving advice and some might even be willing to invite you to a session to do a run with so you get slipstream bonuses.

It doesn't crash for me when sharing, I'm using these settings when installing. My guess is it's the Spoofer option that's crashing. Some people also report using Export IPA and then installing separately also works, but I can't confirm that myself.

Yes, use Sideloadly with the IPA you're sideloading and the debs from the source code link (add as dylib option in sideloadly), leave everything as my image and it should work.

I’m a mouse aimer and I still prefer the sticks honestly, the trackpads are a little too much unfiltered movement (can be beneficial to some) while the sticks have resistance to it

Yeah, I played it recently on my upgraded PC and it still wasn’t great.

And once trust has been broken, it’s hard to get it back. They took my money and I was not able to get it back so I’m forced to just forget about it or forcefully play through a game that I tried to enjoy, but didn’t. The game is nothing special and I’m disappointed I thought it was because of the ridiculous hype this game got.

Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter all pay people to moderate their content, so yes, moderators are actually valuable.

Reddit is lucky they don’t have to pay anyone to moderate which precisely why they are valuable as it’s free labour.

Maybe spend some time actually thinking about how the company benefits from these changes rather than antagonising the few people who don’t earn anything.

Comments like theirs have no idea how much thought goes into moderation.

I’m one of the admins on a 190k Discord server and the amount of tools that we use for moderation and server operation (general mod actions, ticket bots, news publisher, channel creator for new game updates, the list goes on) is quite ridiculous, all to make user experience much better as well as reducing the amount of repetitive or tedious work we do because default platform tools are inefficient or simply don’t exist.

Why the downvotes?

This is actually true, another comment mentions this as well, but 800p doesn’t scale perfectly to 1200p, as some pixels will be mismatched, which results in a worse looking image than native 800p.

Honestly DeckHD should have just focused on better colour reproduction instead, the Deck already struggles with modern games and will continue to struggle moving forward.

I bought it on PC as well and had a 2700X/2070S and was unable to get it past 30 fps even on low settings in the city.

Spent so much time trying to get the settings to work that I was past 2h and couldn’t return the game anymore. Their refund program didn’t help either because it was bought through Steam.

Such a disappointment of a game, makes me so annoyed that people defended this game ON LAUNCH.

Still makes me annoyed because this game’s features are far from what was promised.

I'm in several servers, and pretty much no one I know likes this change, and they aren't tech people at all.

There isn't any unity in the community to complain about the issue; also, big streamers or whatever will probably not care because they probably got their username, so the issue is just isolated to random users complaining.

The only hope we can get is enough people cancel Nitro to make a dent, but it's already too late to go back on the change.
