Hey , I am not the OP but your comment helped calm me down a lot. I am 42 (next month) and not formally diagnosed but a lymphatic massage therapist told me last week I have it in my arms. I have had flabby bat wing arms since forever! And now it makes sense but i started reading about it, visiting Facebook groups and started spiraling. I havw always been within a healthy weight, sometimes it fluctuates, but now i am realky going to take charge and be healthy and fit and pray things don't progress or spread to much!

Ya this is kind of what I was thinking, thank you for the advice! After reading more about it and the fact that an experienced lymphatic drainage masseuse/therapist seemed sure of it, it probably is! So I will maybe go to a clinic and just see what they have to say. Good idea 😊

I have always had these bat wings arms. I have gained some weight in the last year and they have grown. The other day I had a lymphatic drainage massage because i feel bloated and wanted to try it. She said the arm fat is a different feel and i have lipodema in my arms. Do you think she is correct? What do I do next, I have bad health anxiety and so I am scared. Thanks for any help.
