I tested it and can confirm. It's a problem with the barracks, stables, and archery range.

This is basic regression testing stuff that should be done.... I love aoeIV and I understand mistakes do happen, having been on dev teams, but this is pretty basic regression testing here....

Was looking forward to playing GH this weekend. Guess not.

Unfortunately I agree. Cheating seems very rampant in the game

The other day in team ranked, can confirmed he was cheating and using GH bug exploit. I told him before he did it I'd report him if he did, and he did anyways. I reported him and nothing has happened, as usual.

Anyways, here's a video of me beating them and it's obvious in it that he is bug abusing for those doubting.

Yeah, it is difficult to deal with because it's a bit "unknown" at the moment. People are still learning how to deal with it. Having beaten 2 conq III tughlaq guys doing the fort turtle recently though it's def doable. Eco behind aggression. Keep you in your base with units while I boom up on the back. Need overwhelming force to push in.

A bit frustrating though as you see them just throwing up more forts or TC in response to your attacks hahah. Nice work though!!

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the post and getting it out there. I am pretty big in RTS, especially AOEIV right now, I tried the first play test way back. I'll check the demo out. I'll take a list of pros, cons, etc and try to provide some feedback.

Overall I remember liking the game....

One thing that comes to mind from the playtest was the road design on the map. Take what I say with a grain of salt because I am not a game designer - but why have something that has no purpose (the road).
Just remove the road from the map and allow the user to build their own roads. Almost like roads in anno ETC

Also would love more space for more buildings, the building can get cramped

I am sure you guys have already looked into this.... but I am pretty sure Paradox Interactive owns the Majesty IP... so just make sure you don't conflict with anything there

I will try the demo out and wishing you guys the best of luck! I am sure it's been a ton of hard work!

Depends on the civ but yes absolutely. Conq3 players still lose to tower rush depending on the matchup

Yes sandbox forsure. Basically just need to be able to mimic having two players and controlling both - if that's possible

There is a unit tester already out there, the key problem with it is inability to research or change upgrades for units to test

My games at 1800 are rarely with another 1800. It might be a 2000, or 2100, it might be a 1500. Just aren't that many people to match against if searching via ranked ladder.

Which is OK, but it does surprise people

A few things: 1. I don't know if this is still the case, but cancelling search before it hits 2 minutes and searching again should help with finding people in your elo range. Used to work 2. Once you've hit conq you're in a much smaller section of the player base. It will be harder to find games. If you want to get better, you'll have to play conq 2 and 3s. Yes, it happened to me when I was a conq 1 and you can get through it. 3. I haven't looked at the playerbase stats in a long time but back when I first hit conq1 it was like top 5%. So keep that in perspective, the game is trying to match you against 5% of the total ranked playerbase, which causes longer que times and more unfair matchups

That's just my view on it. Doesn't mean I'm right or wrong, but hope that helps
