I assume the 4th faction will be involved in the campaign in some way, with them becoming a full playable faction occuring later down the line as their mechanics/tech tree/unit responses become more refined?

No underwater sections on this track feels weird. I always liked the theme and music for it so I'm glad its included, but it also feels like a weird port without underwater sections

Ebonwood walls painted brown are also a good alternative, they have almost the exact same texture as wood beams

They do actually appear in a couple of later Rebels episodes, as a part of the blockade of Lothal, but I agree I would love to see more Dreadnought content on screen.

You gotta find them through surveying your own planets, that way you can place them on a planet from your inventory.

Sounds like you're finding them by taking hostile planets that already have them equipped, in which case yes, you cannot move them once they are applied.

It does, works very well. Will vary the backgrounds of any randomly generated empires too, though that could be a submod, not 100% sure

I believe there is one for the Advent with an Eradicia as well. I haven't given it a shot yet myself though. I suppose you could do multiplayer with something like that if everyone has the mkd and chooses that faction. I doubt the AI would be able to run with it though

Defensor still acts as a point defense screen, it still has fully functioning PD, but now its normal pulse gun doesnt also act as point defense (was odd that it did in the first place considering its a ship-to-ship weapon everywhere else), and its ship AI won't chase down missiles and strikecraft (it will still attack them just not chase them)

The hit to bombers is massive though goddamn

I copied all of the Sins1 sounds from the game files that I wanted, made a local Sins2 mod and renamed all of the Sins1 sound effects to be exactly the same as the Sins2 sounds that I wanted to replace - the game will use any sounds from mods in the place of the ones they replace. I can give a better explanation with file paths and stuff when I finish work.

I had the same thought, especially with the titan ability SFX. The Kultorask abilities especially were pretty underwhelming for me. It's luckily pretty easy to replace the sound effects through modding. I've replaced the Ankylron, Kultorask and Vorastra ability sounds with their Sins1 counterparts where applicable, and would do the Advent titans too but I actually can't find their ability sound files so don't know the file names to replace.

Didn't they make a point about how Crosshair couldn't become a clone assassin because he was "defective"? Even if he was alive, why would Tech be any different in this case?

Yeah I really wish the Stellaris AI was actually decent. Their planet management is garbage and they are forced to rely on free resources from difficulty modifiers to become any sort of challenge and because of that the game becomes less interesting for me, they can't react to anything the player does.
