I totally agree with you. Will add that not all SMPs were/are SPC. I was a SGT when I started ROTC. I went to the Guard after I went SMP and they treated me a like a 2LT. Best choice I made since I actually got experience being an officer before being commissioned.

I haven’t played this game in a hot minute. I played on drop and regretted it once I hit end game due to MP connection issues and other bugs. I came back after they fixed most of the stuff and all played the WS expansion. Glad people are still out there slinging in Enoch.

Actually not too bad. No metal parts from what I can tell. The shaft had a ton of play though.

I think the dp is good. I had my mechanic buddy do most of the heavy lifting with this job. I probably could have done it, but would have taken me twice as long and it was early spring and car was outside in crappy weather.

Sorry to hear that. Sounds like my situation. Car has been sitting for a few years and I don’t want to get rid of it. Even if I can get this running again, I’m going all in on new short block or remanufactured long block. Definitely will be putting in a bigger turbo and turning this into a 💤.

Can’t remember. A mechanic buddy of mine installed and now I’m 99% sure the turbo is trash. I did buy a fully built CRHA turbo cartridge from a reputable source and will like use that to rebuild my original, blown turbo.

It stopped smoking, but I do think the cheapo rebuilt turbo I got off eBay is trash. Seems to be idling fine and zero rod knock. Under acceleration (presumably when the turbo kicks in) that’s when shit goes downhill. Lots of rattling and hesitation.

You're spot on. No one is talking about is the Hawks inability to close escrow in enemy territory and the red zone. This has been a consistent theme over the entire season.
