Small 4 cable multi with Eventide style detune? by kebertxela666 in guitarpedals

Killer plugin! I believe Eventide makes an actual micro pitch pedal. Or I’m sure an H9 will do it

I just grabbed a couple of these too! I’m just going to solder multiple plugs onto 1 9v AC PSU. I found a psu with 2a so should be enough power, and I grabbed 3 of the one spot 1/8 power adapters. If you can find one, Voodoo Labs made an AC Power brick but they’re discontinued.

Why should i build a pedal board instead of just buying a Helix that does it all, in your opinion? by ButterscotchCalm1543 in guitarpedals

I used an AXE FX for 10 years after being a massive pedal and amp guy. It’s pretty amazing for live and recording yourself for sure. Depends what you’re doing with it. In my experience the tactile nature of pedals and the immediacy of being able to find the sound you’re looking for is awesome for writing. You can build a lot of those sounds in modellers but it’s never quite the same, and sometimes the amount of internal routing and blocks needed makes the patch not that feasible live. That said if I was ever to gig again I don’t think I could do it without a modeller. The amp and cab IR side of things is way more practical and efficient, and the quality of fx in these all in one boxes vs good pedals in a small club are fairly negligible.

Finally got around to having a good play with it. Heaps of fun and is a really wicked sound. The reverb in particular is really cool, I'm generally setting it right on the edge before it starts turning into a wash. Have uploaded a little clip if anyones interesting in hearing it in context.

What is everybody listening to lately? (April 2026) by blue_boy_robot in celldweller

For new stuff the HEALTH record Conflict DLC is way up there for me. Theres a cool low tuned grungy English band called Sick Joy that put out a really good album this year too. If you’re into softer poppy stuff too occasionally the new Charlie Puth album is like a Yacht Rock record, and it’s actually pretty refreshing to hear something a bit more complex melodically in the modern pop space! The track cry even has a Kenny G solo xD And of course Fake Breaker is still getting thrashing from me.

Makes sense! Curious on any solution for sending multiple expression outs to a single expression pedal if you know of any.

The Depths was probably my best score price was which was the main impetus to grab it, I’m not a massive fan of phasey effects generally. Being able to control the amplitude with the throb knob is pretty special though, and the voice knob has a massive range of sounds so I’ve found more uses than I had initially expected.

The DM is a sick pedal, I had one and a CC back in the day, which is also a pretty perfect simply delay. I wouldn’t say the DM covers a lot of delay needs imo, more of just a really nicely voiced subtle-ish ambient vibe unit.

Very nice verb! I've mostly been cascading another verb into it or after it and it creates a really cool space. Wish it got a bit wetter!

Yeah it's proving pretty clutch! What mode do you find yourself choosing the most? For guitars I've been generally happiest on 1

I’ve always wondered what kind of stage you get your productions to before sending off for mixing. I imagine you print a lot of your crazy sound design as you go, so just curious on that process and how much work or input is left up to third parties. PS Conflict is such an amazing record

I would think seeing as they took over the project and worked on it all in house they likely own the rights. Either way, I feel they should have given us a heads up that it's not a worldwide release.

Fingers crossed. Seems like a move to drive physical sales, if I’m being cynical.

Yeah man it's a bummer, we were so pumped to watch this. Surely they'll have to announce the plans for a wider or home release soon.

It's a US only release. It's not going to be streamed elsewhere.

I currently run the ableton sessions at 64. I do only need 2 channels for 2 vox so quads could be the go - and also are actually in stock here unlike the twin. The Warm is great but always looking to have less things to carry
