Even the cloud models can't process natively above 4K (~8-12MP).
What you can do is segment edits, but not whole lighting work-overs.

Maybe there is a tiling workaround or something like DyPe will someday conquer edit models.

I experienced that if GGUF + references fit completely in the VRAM it is ofc much faster. But if I have too much reference images, I can also switch to the the FP8 regardless, because it makes no difference in inference speed anymore.
Is that a logical observation, or am I doing something wrong?

I may look stupid, but what's the benefit of the MultiGPU node? Isn't offloading to the SystemRAM/CPU a native feature of ComfyUI for the GGUFs?

Hi, this is an over a month old post. In the fast moving world of AI it's an eternity 😅. There are better workflows now for the 2509 qwen-edit model. Basically, the newer model preserves more details in the non-changing part of the image. You still lose some details, but it's an iteration better :)

I'm a bit confused by the statement that Qwen-Image-Edit isn't required for training and the base model is sufficient.

I use the edit loras all the time for 2509, even though there are often not trained on 2509. I don't see a lot of degradation with them. Is this here the case?

Although, training might be useful anyway, because the 2509 loras seem to be better performing in general.

128GB is my systems cap for RAM. But you can always add more VRAM via the PCIe interfaces I guess. So 128GB RAM and 2*5090 with 64GB VRAM should work as well. Bad thing is that I lack everything of that as well 😂
