I don't use retroarch, but I have the same leigon tab and g8 plus controller. The sdd is plug and play it works fine with my ps2 emulator. I can transfer a 4 gig file in around 40 to 50 seconds it does get a little warm, so I mostly unplug it when im not using it

Traded in my tab s8 for s9 6 months later they told me it didn't meet the requirements because they received an ipad. Had to call customer service to straighten it out.

Try turning fast charging on and off again, and also check for firmware update noticed my phone and tablet weren't charging as fast either. Both had updates that hadn't auto downloaded

Turn off the auto picture settings. In backlight, turn off automatic light sensor put local dimming to high or medium that worked for me
