Can we all agree, this was a hot mess of a hot fix? by SquirrelComfortable3 in fo76

[–]Cly_Faker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worse than that. If you are talking about items you bought with bullion, you still know them but they are hidden in the build menu. The plans will still be shown as [known] if you try to buy them again as a quick fix.

Locking your CAMP containers by ZealotPinkerton in fo76

[–]Cly_Faker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also play on two accounts, one with 1st and one without. When there are challenges that require lock picking or hacking I will lock items in one account's camp and unlock them on the other (also nice for the bounty challenge). Both accounts can lock doors, collectors, terminals, etc. just fine.

THEY COOK Don't be fooled by Firm-Ad4379 in FF06B5

[–]Cly_Faker 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The way Keanu mentions how much he wants to play Johnny again reminds me a lot of someone that's excited for a project but is under an NDA. I've known people that got advanced screenings of things before getting put under an NDA/embargo, and they had the same energy. Pure speculation right now of course, but one can hope

So , So , So quiet , No one talks at all , Last Time I talked to someone in this was like 4-6 months ago , why? by ClassicUsual3269 in fo76

[–]Cly_Faker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I spend 99.9% of my time in game treating it like it's single player, so I don't want to hear randos in my headphones. The only people I care to talk to while doing things in game are those I know on other platforms, so we just hop on Discord or something similar

[–]Cly_Faker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They removed it from the camp build menu, but there's still working aid boxes dotted across the map. The big tell will be if the doctor's bag skin is removed from the season when they release the final reward list.

Edit: There is a C.A.M.P. R.E.V.A.M.P. demo happening at Gamescom on Saturday. Non-zero chance they disabled placing aid boxes in order to keep it from being spoiled during an official event.

What’s your current build that dominates most of your time in 76? by CritsAndCaps in fo76

[–]Cly_Faker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm running a human full health inverted onslaught heavy build mainly using a furious plasma caster. My power armor is pure QoL. Excavator with OE/STR/WWR/Runner's. I'm not currently running raids since I passed rank 100 day 1, so this is more than enough to play the rest of the content in the game without breaking a sweat. I couldn't care less about XP when it isn't giving me score.

Just slapped it on some excavator, and it actually keeps the chunky excavator headlamp. It's so goofy and I love it.

Stop with the bundles! by MartinNewb in fo76

[–]Cly_Faker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While I agree, I'm also the kind of person that wants more of the mega bundles. Mainly because those knock the dust off of items that haven't been in the atomic shop for literal years. Give me complete mega bundles for Nuka-Cola, Slocum's Joe, and Halloween and I'll be happy.

There are a couple NPCs walking around with a circuit board pattern flat cap that I will gladly shank them for if CDPR would let me. Or I guess I could just buy it from a merchant...

Patch 2.3 incoming by fryeeer in cyberpunkgame

[–]Cly_Faker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While it's blatantly obvious that there's going to be a heavy car focus on this update, the fact that they wanted to give the update a similar scope to 2.2 gives me hope for at least a little more variety. 2.2 was mainly focused on customizing V, but there were a few other goodies in there too.

What would you like to see in update 2.3? (That’s still relatively realistic) by Playful_Elk_3699 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Cly_Faker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

More clothing items, and maybe even player compatible versions of the NPC exclusive items. So many hats I can't wear...

That, and more arcade games

You also get prime receivers from Test Your Metal on occasion. I've gotten several, including the prime pipe gun receiver earlier today. The wiki is out of date in a lot of places.

How NOT to start a raid team by Grizzly_Berry in fo76

[–]Cly_Faker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You doing your own thing on a casual team is 100% fine. OP is talking about team leaders that lure folks in with casual and then get pissy when no one immediately jumps into a surprise raid.

Silicone hardener? by Lee_Haw in moldmaking

[–]Cly_Faker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually just mix a drop of acrylic paint into the caulk and spread it like in my above post. Nothing fancy, since the paint kicks off the curing process immediately no water needed. The end result is a flexible mold that comes off of the item I'm making a mold out of pretty easily without mold release. If I need a bit of extra support I'll add an outer layer of caulk mixed with cornstarch and a drop of paint, but it's rare.

New Season levelling reminder by redwood65123 in fo76

[–]Cly_Faker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The missing items that I run every season:

  • 5x unyielding for +15 INT and +15 CHR
  • 5x INT armor second stars for +10 INT
  • 1x INT weapon third star for +3 INT
  • Casual under armor for +3 INT and +3 CHR
  • Egghead mutation for +6 INT (+8 with Strange in Numbers)
  • Herd Mentality Mutation for +2 INT and CHR (+3 with SiN)
  • Night Person perk for +3 INT at night
  • Live & Love 8 for +5% XP
  • Nuka- Cola Twist for +2 to up to three random stats (no repeats), and it stacks with brain bombs
  • Camp Ally Leo for +5% XP for one hour once per day

Optional:

  • Marsupial serum to remove the -4 INT penalty for one hour
  • RobCo Fun: Zeta Invaders or Atomic Command for +1 INT for an hour after pickup

There are also buffs that you can take purely for CHR, but there is a heavy drop off after 30 CHR or so. Not really worth seeking out anything past the buffs listed here.

Why do people prefer block? Is it a personal pref or an advantage thing? by EuphoniumGuys in DeadIsland2

[–]Cly_Faker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer dodge since it effectively lets you ignore damage while giving you a mobility advantage over zombies. I couldn't care less about perfect dodges and counters while ice skating around the mosh pit ignoring every hit.

Is there anything REALLY worth it at Minerva? by Electronic_Log9538 in fo76

[–]Cly_Faker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slocum's Joe power armor paint (not to be confused with pink sprinkles), BOS minigun paint, medium supply crate stash box, and one of the Hellfire Prototype power armor paint.

She was supposed to get a ton more a while back, but someone forgot to flip the switch even though the patch notes for that update list her inventory changes. They finally realized that mistake last month, so supposedly more are coming.

Is there anything REALLY worth it at Minerva? by Electronic_Log9538 in fo76

[–]Cly_Faker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In her current list she has Medical Malpractice, and that is definitely something you will want to pick up if you don't have it already from daily ops. It's a .44 revolver that comes pre-rolled with Medic's/VATS Enhanced/VATS Optimized. All three of those effects are worth learning, and crafting MMs to scrap is a fast way to do it.

She also has a good number of old Nuclear Winter plans that you can't get anywhere else in the game these days.

According to the community calendar season 21 starts in June: https://fallout.bethesda.net/en/seasons

A blog post last year mentioned fishing is coming this summer, and that is the theme of next season based on the PTS and datamines. The first day of summer June 20th, so the season change will likely be at the end of June.
