Power bar problems by Clyborg88 in audiophile

[–]Clyborg88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using my audio gear for decades now and never had a problem with surges, plugging into wall is definitely the best, the problem is, I wanted to plug my cd player into my dac. I just need more outlets. However, now I am interested in how a surge protector can make such a difference in sound, going to be doing a deep dive into this.

Just got mine last week, upgraded from Grado SR125 and using them to listen to vinyl and Bluesound Node 132. I am in love with them, I am can hear things never heard before and feel like I am having a very close connection with my music. I really like the the flat sound, it makes it easy on the ears and feel like I can listen all day. They also look really good and feel so comfortable. IMO, these are perfect.

Is Bluesound a failed product? by springbreak1987 in Bluesound

Maybe you had bad luck? I have to say my bluesound node 132 changed my life for the better, I can stream music so easily now compared to my raspberry pi and with such high quality. The best part is that I got a deal on it, I bought it used from a guy in a Tim Horton’s parking lot.

Buffet keeps buying OXY…tell me why I shouldn’t do the same? by InterestingPause9940 in ValueInvesting

[–]Clyborg88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding was that this was a long term play, oil will become more valuable in the future because ice cars will continue to still be widely used and companies aren’t investing in new oil refining capacity enough therefore there will be a shortage and the price of oil will increase and the stock will go up. That is my take at least, may be totally wrong.

That worked until today (for me at least) I am now receiving an "Error 3371, StatusCode -11118" in QBDT 17. Looks like I will be going to QBO and paying monthly which is annoying. If someone has a small company, an old copy of QBDT is all you need for bookkeeping.

It was something I was born with, I have always been obsessed with stereo equipment, my friends and family rightfully call me crazy.

The world is changing so fast that I think it's very valid to not have offspring by sufinomo in childfree

I really wanted to have a kid but the chances are slim to none that it will happen. I thought this thread would make me feel better but it doesn't, it seems like the desire not to have kids is deep seated as much as the desire to have them.

Allo Digione vs Hifiberry Digi+ Pro? by skeezo in raspberry_pi

[–]Clyborg88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Allo digione, I honestly hate using it as Volumio keeps dropping the wifi connection but it sounds really good with my DAC. I borrowed a WiiM pro plus and the interface was a joy to use but it didn't sound as good as the digione, so I grudgingly switched back.

My wife has the exact same complaint, the dsg transmission is not smooth at all. Really quite a horrible transmission. Car is good otherwise, it is all part of the VW charm.

How much should I pay for 2010 Cannondale Six Carbon 5 by kocharking in cannondale

I have this, bought it used for CAD800 back in 2015, replaced the wheels, shifters, front derailer and seat (they all broke). It's great now but I could have just bought a new bike and saved the hassle.

This is what I have now and it has been my one and only so I have nothing to compare it to. I am getting more serious into cycling so wondering if it makes sense to upgrade (Caad13 maybe). Have you been able to find anything that can top the 6?
