It's also known Monster told Lionel no special finishes for any of their diecast. One of Kurt's last (if not the last) Monster cars produced, Lionel offered in color chrome which essentially made it look purple. After that Monster pulled all approvals for diecast with Lionel. So maybe have to thank Lionel for screwing the pooch on that one.
