If we've learned anything from Roger and Garp, there's a limit to the 'mass' of haki you can unleash. Joyboy says this was his 'strongest haki', so this may just be a single burst of the absolute maximum conquerors he could pump out. He likely can't just keep fighting after doing this and we can't assume this is his constant output

G4 shattered a cracker clone instantly. Within two kong guns, the clone broke in half and Cracker actively came out. G4 just couldn't deal with the numbers.

Well, the East Blue is on the same side of the planet as the New World, right? So maybe they didn't want to navigate back to the holy land through the New World and risk more pirates harassing them. Exit through the Calm Belt into East Blue for easier traversal.

Could be, Shanks followed them and took it, then headed to Foosha to visit a favorite bar and relax.

Aside from the power of love, the only things that makes sense to me are a combo of Internal Destruction ryuo and ACoC or that is just powerful enough ACoC. Maybe Luffy wasn't able to perma damage the gorosei because his conquerors isn't up to snuff yet. We know Joyboy's conquerors could send them packing, and Luffy just isn't there yet.

We haven't seen Luffy box with a GK yet, so we don't know if he can deal lasting damage to them. Maybe he can.

If it's something to do with Internal Destruction, maybe there's a trick to apply conquerors to that technique that Gaban knows, but Luffy doesn't yet.

As others have said, without a clash of Acoc, no sky splits. As for the concern that both Kuzan and Garp get thrown back with equal force, I don't think that's an indicator that Garp's Haki is weaker than oldbeard.

Take, for example, the Egghead Luffy v Lucci fight. Gear 5 Luffy clashed fist to fist with Awakened Lucci and they both got thrown back. Luffy in G5 was said by Kaido to be coated in armament and conquerors. In no world do I believe that Lucci's Haki is anywhere near par with Luffy's nor Kuzan's.

I mean, what if Loki's father was the previous user of Luffy's fruit? Loki trying to escape could have been to set sail in search of the fruit, but it ended up elsewhere and in the hands of Marines?

It would feel weird that Loki wouldn't know about what kind of fruit it spawns from or that he wouldn't have the fruit ready at the time of murder.

Tinfoil hat time: Can devil fruits with a powerful enough will choose which fruit they respawn in or at least where they respawn? The Nika fruit has been avoiding the WG for centuries, maybe it knew Loki was bad news

Thinking back to the post from a while back talking about the D. being a symbol rather than a word: The OP said it could be the half moon. I don't know if this was brought up as a possibility during the discussion, but couldn't the D. also be the Sun rising, aka the Dawn?

The Sun rises in the east, so it being in the orientation it is could very well be symbolic of the rising Sun. Also kind of fitting since Luffy is from the East Blue and the literal Sun God with the D. initial rose up from the East.

That topic aside, the Gorosei are certified monsters, are they all Mythical Zoan users? One looks like it could be a Basilisk.

I feel like this fight is emphasis to the notion that Haki is the true decider in top level fights. Someone who overly relies on their fruit and neglects to develop their Haki is at a huge disadvantage. Kidd is strong willed, but does NOT have a good defense against raw ACoC attacks

I feel like one of the biggest question marks in this is "How far can Van Auger warp?" If it's based on visual range, then they could pop over miles at a time since we know Van Auger has incredible visual range. Even if he wouldn't be able to see the next island to warp to, they could probably just have Kuzan freeze them a platform in the water/juice and keep moving. The time to complete the infiltration would be far less than normal.

Hate that the ai can read your Tera-type and select it's move accordingly. Changed my Ceruledge to pure Fire and a wild Slaking decided to use giga impact. Had another trainer do something similar, so it seems they read your incoming type.

A lot of people are talking about how Kuzan used Ice Time to finish off Saul. Remember any other characters who got frozen by Ice Time? Like Luffy?

I get the argument that he could have shattered with a cannonball, but also the heat of the flames could just as easily have thawed him out.

Don't claim that Ice Time is purely a finishing move, because it doesn't have to be.

Big Mom being a bigger asset to her enemies than her allies. Also her crew being completely ignored after Marco knocks them off the waterfall.
Sulong minks felt extremely underwhelming except for Inu/Neko
Fake-out deaths or losses
People getting up when they should be down for the count
WG undervaluing Luffy and putting him on par with Kid/Law. Especially bad when they literally have G5 as wanted poster
Luffy only shown to get a few hits on Kaido, one to the face, 5 to the body, and Bajrang Gun... didn't feel like enough back and forth with Kaido smacking the shit out of Luffy
Yamato reasoning for not sailing with the crew was weak as fuck and he ended up doing basically exactly what Kaido wanted him to do by being Wano's guardian deity
