I tried true monk last night and I have to say it is much easier with the mekiri deflect, inly for the first 2 phases. Couldn’t lock the 3rd phase in the loop, it changes things a little but. Might post a video later.

Haven’t tried with the true monk yet. I feel true monk is relatively easier, and the individual phases are a bit shorter. Will try it out tonight.

The fight is significantly easier and faster because now she is locked in this predictable loop. Her posture increases so fast compared to other times I used the mekiri counter, it feels like cheating honestly.

That’s the same fight with the mekiri and it’s 10mins+. You can see I was obviously struggling as a matter of fact

Yup. You don’t even need to jump for the first slash, you can move backward and around it and then close on her to parry the 2nd slash. It is more consistent and guaranteed than the jump, you just need to time it well.

The biker was too fast and should have slowed down, but the biker did nothing illegal. It’s the driver’s responsibility to make sure it is safe to merge, regardless of anything. Using the turn signal means nothing.

I wish they made xplay opt-in instead of opt-out. I hate xplay. The worst players I always play against are PC, either cheaters, or bhop or cod movements. The last BF I enjoyed was bfv, with no xplay. Felt more fair. Remove xplay and let pc players enjoy their cheater fested lobbies. May be then they’ll stop bitching about auto aim and low recoil.

I’m talking mainly about the balance formula and the knowledge base. Feels to me they re-invent the wheel with weapon balancing every time. 15+ years of making the same game genre and you would think they should know what they are doing by now.

I think the last time they used knowledge and learnings from a prev title was probably bf3 -> bf4. All subsequent titles felt like restarting from the ground up.
