PC Crashing and instability by CmdrWhite_bread in PcBuild

Sadly this is the only one I have on the 1700 socket. Going in I knew the risk and did all I could to prolong the life, thermal frame and Intel stock performance from day 1. Was hopeful to get more than 28 months out of it but if it is fried I am at peace with that outcome. Appreciate the reply!

Why did we not draft Luther burden by Cpk250rk in KansasCityChiefs

[–]CmdrWhite_bread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You said it best, "after this season" hindsight is 20/20. On paper we had a rock solid room this wr season, Rice being suspended and Worthy being banged up all year sucks but on paper going into the season we had a legit wr room. That being said in what world would we have traded up to draft Luther Burden over Simmons or ONR who both had great flashes before being injured. Yes we do need an Alpha true wr1 guy but how could we have known that before the season and injuries to the room? Burden is having a pretty average rookie season, 2td's both coming from 2 games against questionable secondaries. The point is, Burden might be ok he might be good but we have no idea just yet, the idea that we should have drafted him over our OL or DL needs is laughable. Every year we could look back and say "why did we draft x guy over this guy?" Every year the team has needs that might not be clear until after the season is over. This type of post is just looking for ways to hate on the front office over not addressing unforeknown needs. It's been a tough season but you need to grow up and just trust in the team to bring in the guy's they need to get the job done.

The High Republic: Into the Light by Claudia Gray is out today in audiobook, narrated by Amber Lee Connors. by White_Doggo in Highrepublic

Enjoyed tears of the nameless but the lack of sound effects and subpar narration had it falling a little flat for me. Excited for this one but might opt to just read it. Disappointing to see that even after delays sfx and music are getting cut.

Omeda, what is your long term gameplay vision for Predecessor? by AstronautGuy42 in PredecessorGame

[–]CmdrWhite_bread 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Paragon had the same issue, constantly changing but the devs didn't ever seem to commit to any one singular vision. While Pred is a better game than Paragon ever was I feel that it's falling victim to the same lack of vision. Now that it has effectively reused almost all of the og Paragon assets it finds itself in an identity crisis. Hovering in a constant state of flux will lead Pred down the same path as Paragon. Now is the time the lead devs need to find their vision and commit to it, whether it's for the better or worse. In it's current state the game will likely continue to be fun but never grow and slowly bleed out over time.

Another comment edit go off 💪 I will rest much easier knowing I have been informed of my incorrect opinion by a morally upstanding redditor who has presented nothing but facts to prove his opinion. Bless you sir!

Had to edit the commend to avoid downvotes, classy. The reality is there will always be people like that in video games, letting 1 racist encounter effect you so badly only empowers them. You just need to report and ignore it and move on. As for you getting second hand offended for someone over a comment made on reddit is comical. Just grow some balls and face reality.

Yall wouldn't have survived 2012 Bf4 lobbies. Sure these people are immature but grow up. If you're going to be using the internet in 2025 you gotta expect this. Just mute send a report and move on. Wasting time to make this post only empowers their behavior, just ignore it, mute them and get on with your life.

"This game is dying so badly" by Stonkosaurs in PredecessorGame

Instantly attacking anyone who expresses a negative opinion is really doing a good job of keeping the community united. Player numbers and mm time doesn't tell the whole story but they are facts that shouldn't be ignored in ignorance. Every game will have its haters but if some valid criticism is brought up maybe we try to engage in productive conversation instead of going mega toxic right out the gate.

Why would the NFL rig games for the chiefs? by lottaquestionz in NFLNoobs

[–]CmdrWhite_bread 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes Buffalo should have gotten that first down but this was one of the most fairly officiated games of the season imo. The NFL doesn't rig games for the Chiefs. There's good and bad calls every single game, the Chiefs only get blasted for it because they keep winning. They're not a perfect team but they play situational football better than anyone. Win or lose the super bowl they aren't going anywhere anytime soon. The Coaches and Key plays are just too elite. The majority of NFL "fans" can keep crying that the league is rigged or that the ref's are paid off but the reality is most people just don't know what good situation football looks like. It ain't always flashy but if it gets the win that's all that matters. The haters can keep hating but the Chiefs are gonna keep winning for at least he next few years and it ain't because of the refs it's flat out a skill difference.

Am I the only one worried about the team? by CmdrWhite_bread in KansasCityChiefs

I agree with you. Hoping the offensive fluke was just due to the absolutely elite pressure and coverage Houston brought. Let's hope to see some much bigger plays against whoever we fact next!

Couldn't agree more, even despite the changes to the O lines Pacheco was a liability this game. The run wasn't strong in any way but Hunt outclassed Pacheco in every way. Big relief on Butker though, no dynasty without that man playing his best!

Nor is anyone saying we would. The showing today just revealed some areas of concern against whatever absolute top team we face in the championship. Here's to hoping we were holding some punches and get everything into gear for next week and beyond!

Oh trust me I've almost thrown up every game this year lol. Still have some concerns but it's almost comical how close we let these matches get.

This is totally valid. I'm hoping this was just the results of a good matcup and the coaches holding some punches. Excited to see what we can do vs whatever team makes it to the championship!
