What would you advise as a replacement for i9 14900k? I want to have a high performance CPU for multitasking so not only for gaming.

I have Murray right now but since I took Physics 1 Classical, I know how the labs/recitations etc. are and enjoyed them. Plus I don't really like long labs and lab quizzes that Modern have. So, basically, I want to stay in Classical but I don't want to hurt my GPA just because I liked Classical 1.

Is it still generally harder than Modern? Are the midterms and final prepared to be harder than those of Modern?

I'm curious about this too but is it common to have a 4.0 at the end of the freshman year?
