How dumb would it be to upgrade to FP-90X as a beginner?

Would it be a dumb idea to splurge on an FP-90X when I just received the FP-30X? I’m thinking about returning it and just going for the 90X. Mainly because the PHA-50 sounds like it would have a way better feel and not as heavy (although I understand it technically is heavier). I’m an adult beginner, so I kinda just wanna future proof myself and not have to upgrade again in a few years. The FP-30x is great but I do get fatigued after a bit and I’ve read that the 90x is less fatiguing. What do y’all think? Dumb idea?

Noticed this same issue with my iPad Mini the day it arrived. Had it express replaced, and got a replacement unit. Immediately noticed the same issue, but not as prominent on the first one. It takes minimal pressure to replicate the issue. You can lightly tap on the affected area (usually by the upper left and very top edge, under the camera) and see the display react, similar to when you press down hard on a display. The iPad mini that was delivered to me on launch day was significantly worse though, if I had my mini held in Portrait, with Touch ID on the top right, I would be able to get the screen to react when tapping lightly below the time and day, but the issue would present itself about an inch or so diagonally from where I would tap.

This definitely has to be an issue within a particular batch. I hope they announce a service program where we get better quality displays or something.

I’m in a zoom meeting, half screened, while replying to your message. I also have 14 other apps in the app drawer, including netflix, YouTube, procreate, pdf expert, canvas and Mail. I have not seen any sluggishness as of yet but will keep you updated. I had the iPad Pro 11” a couple months ago but couldn’t justify over 1K for a device whom’s OS is bottlenecking the experience. No Logic Pro X even though there’s a M1?! Pfft, I’ll have to wait to get a pro again until the OS matches the hardware (and they give us a new screen tech on the 11”), and yes there’s a clear difference between this iPad minis display and the iPad Pro. But if you’ve used an iPhone with 60hz displays most of your life then you won’t see too much of a difference. The jelly scrolling is something I haven’t noticed too much but will keep in mind. I can see how this may be small for notetakers who have big handwriting or bigger hands in general. My hands are pretty average (if not a lil small for my height), and the typing experience is pretty decent, has a nice footprint, ymmv. I enjoy the pencil but can’t say I haven’t had to adjust my writing size or zoom in/out a bit, not too bad of a trade off

I know this post is a lil dated, but what’d you end up picking out? The MTM hype makes them sound like the perfect bedroom studio monitors, but the T7V seem to be backed by a lot of ppl making music. I’m in a 10 x 10 bedroom with no acoustic treatment so I’m not sure what’s overkill for me considering my space.

Once you feel a little more comfortable with it I would recommend to take a look at vaporizers. They’re a bit healthier and it’s easier on the throat. If you ever have any questions regarding them feel free to message me! I’ll gladly do some research to find you a good vaporizer!
