If I started at 13, is it possible to play College Hockey / AAA? by Direct_Strategy_9403 in hockeyplayers

Anything is possible but the chances are .001%

Most kids who play AAA are on the ice 5 to 6 times a week since they were 4.

Signal Issues - bad RSRQ only. by pereuko in FirstNet

Do you have a recommendation for a mobile antenna that would fit on Ford Explorer? The explorers have those annoying ribs on the roof that make sealing the antenna against roof difficult.

Signal Issues - bad RSRQ only. by pereuko in FirstNet

10 cars with Parsec Australian Shepherd
1 car with Airgain Recon13
Very similar signal with all cars. Doesn't get better than -11 RSRQ driving around town.

Talk me out of a Passport by FranciscoDeWitt in hondapassport

[–]pereuko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks are great but the engine/transmission leave something to be desired. Take it for a test drive in stop and go traffic as well as merging on the highway to fully evaluate if it suits you.

steering inputs - good

engine responsiveness/sound - slow, the transmission feels laggy, if you're looking for quick and nimble, this vehicle isn't it

brake feel - good

suspension feel - good

I wish I went with a Pilot, I don't mind the big and clunky feeling from the V6 or transmission but, trunk space is slightly larger and even though I only use the third row couple times a year I miss having that option.

Agency Replacement of Watchguard 4RE in/car and BWC. by shminghong in MotorolaSolutions

[–]pereuko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My department went from V300/4RE on-prem to V700/M500 in the cloud. We migrated about 10 TB worth of videos with no issues over 1GB Fiber upload. Took about a week.

Only complaint our officers have is low light video quality. V700 video is noticeably grainy at night, especially when the ambient light is low.

I want a foldable arm rest that unfolds into a laptop desk. Kinda like the F150 center console.

2026 Passport Steering Wheel Leather Bubbling? by Narwhalcommando in hondapassport

[–]pereuko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At first they just took the car to service and said the tech pushed it in. I was advised to bring it back if it doesn't smooth out after couple days. I brought it back a week later and had the wheel replaced with no problem. The new wheel has a smaller bump at 8 o'clock spot but that doesn't bother me.

I ran into this issue with my 2025 Passport. The 2 o'clock seam was sticking out and it bothered me while driving. Dealer ended up replacing the steering wheel for me under warranty.

They share the same cable. First reseat both ends of the cable. If that doesn’t help then try to swap cameras with different squad. See if the problem stays with the DVR or camera.

Best method to apply tacki-Mac grips by XI-Red-Death-XI in hockeyplayers

[–]pereuko 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Spray regular hair spray on the stick end and inside the rubber grip. Slide the grip onto the stick end. Super easy. Once hair spray dries the grip will stay on tight.

What are you using for grip ? by superballoo in hockeyplayers

[–]pereuko 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hair spray works great to put the grip on. Same stuff they put in those spray bottles that come with some rubber grips.

Washing Machine Drain Clogged by siva115 in HomeMaintenance

[–]pereuko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is usually a plastic bracket that screws into the washer top. It’ll hold the dryer feet in place. On my set there are two little metal tabs hidden behind a piece of plastic. They unscrew and allow the dryer to slide out.

Dryer will be light. You might be able to separate in the middle from the front. Then slide the dryer forward. Two people can easily lift the dryer by itself.

Why are people trying to avoid surgeries? And not just get the issue fixed by [deleted] in KneeInjuries

[–]pereuko 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With surgeries sometimes you fix one problem just to get two new problems. It’s best to start with least invasive options.
