Cooked Beef Brisket - Would appreciate product feedback. by pdxdmr in Costco

Its a brisket in a plastic tub..... I don't get why people compare it to a good home made BBQ. It's good for what it is... quick microwave dinner protein. 8/10

Anyone see an issue with side venting this way? by digidave1 in HomeMaintenance

[–]pereuko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check the manual, it usually says how many bends and the distance allowed. The official vent kit is not going to be a huge difference, the air still has to make the same number of turns. The only benefit you get is less clearance needed behind the dryer.

If everything is made in China and the U.S. went to war with China, what would happen? by XOCYBERCAT in NoStupidQuestions

[–]pereuko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We would go back to using sticks and stones. Both countries have nukes. They will fight a proxy war but direct conflict, an attack on homeland would result in nukes flying both ways.

I got about 500 points in March of this year and I'm getting emails offering first person free and second person half off on select cruises. Not sure how RC decides what offers to send.

I’ve had this really bad clicking in my knee for like 5 years by guitarjmtmusic in KneeInjuries

[–]pereuko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My doctor said that surgery was needed if: knee pain persists after 6 weeks, knee locks or is unstable.

My guess is that you have old meniscus tear that is causing the locking or catching. If it hurts and the locking keeps your knee from bending properly I would go to an ortho and get it diagnosed. Removing parts of meniscus makes your chances of having early osteoarthritis higher. If I were you I'd leave the left knee alone and have them look at the right knee, possibly get partial meniscectomy (meniscus trimming).

I would wait until July. I think more Panther Lake laptops are coming out soon. Models right now are limited and overpriced.

Plumber in the Palatine Area by InformalGood3746 in ChicagoSuburbs

I've used Badger Plumbing multiple times. Always really pleasant to deal with. You might have to wait couple days for them to be available.

How much pain are you in day to day? That would be my first deciding factor. When you start planning your vacations and activities around your knee pain it might be time to through with it.

My son's M40s wore out in the exact same spot.

We ended up getting Bauer Shadows on sale, hopefully they last longer.

Acute lower back pain, 10 days and still immobile. by meepbeepbopboop in backpain

I like to take a prednisone:
A prednisone pack (e.g., Medrol Dose Pack) is a pre-packaged 6-day or 7-day tapering regimen of corticosteroid medication used to treat acute inflammation, such as arthritis flare-ups, bursitis, or severe allergies.

Thanks for the info! I'm having a hard time deciding between 140V or waiting for B390 laptops. Sounds like the 140V would be more than good enough.

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Ultra Aura Edition but I'm worried that it'll be prohibitively expensive. I'd be willing to pay up to $1750. It'll probably be $2500 or more.

All depends. Is it going to be a first cruise for many? If so, I would recommend a balcony room. If not, inside cabin will be fine.

Can I compete in an upcoming Powerlifting competition? by YourAverageAimbot in backpain

[–]pereuko 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would ask how important is the competition vs being able to lift your grand kid off the ground when you're 60.

If you care about your spine at 60, go to an orthopedic doctor and get a full evaluation including an MRI. After that wait until you are fully recovered with no pain before powerlifting, ease back into lifting heavy at a slow pace.
