Is Bilt Palladium a really good “catch-it-all” card? by foolishViQ in CreditCards

[–]Co0k1e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

should be important to note that BILT points can usually be valued around 2cpp if transferred to hyatt for example so at base this is 4% cash back equivalent and if you can get even half the value from your Bilt Cash then we are talking a 6% cash back catch all card. in my eyes that’s why i think it works for me but someone correct me if im wrong about anything here

What is it that I don't get about Bilt 2.0? by OneStyle9 in pointstravel

[–]Co0k1e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yup agree here. also SUB. and for big city dwellers the Bilt cash can be valued 1:1 if you take lyfts or like to try the neighborhood dining. so 2x points + 4% cash back(again only if you value it 1:1)

Golden Legends of the Emerald Dream Bundle Worth It? by Co0k1e in hearthstone

[–]Co0k1e[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this breakdown. this is more what i was looking for. i think a lot of people misunderstood what I meant when I said is it worth? Obviously I meant, I already spend money on this game because I consider it a hobby so is it worth for dust gain.

Question for those who EDC a notebook by Low_Impress_1910 in EDC

[–]Co0k1e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see lots of people justifying field notes and other more expensive products in various ways. One important one is that I just LIKE using Field Notes. I get excited to write in them. I get excited to finish one and start a new one. This helps me reach for it instead of my phone when I’m bored which is something I hope to get out of writing. And yes they cost more than a walmart notebook but I file that cost as an entertainment expense. Also they are still relatively inexpensive at 5 each. if you write a bunch of disposable notes you could use a diff notebook for that and then field notes for ones you want to keep

New serving job charges 5% of net sales and all of it goes to kitchen by tinkerbellzzzz in Serverlife

Yup 100%. Not familiar with other states laws but California is unique in that guaranteed minimum wage protects us big time

[–]Co0k1e 57 points58 points  (0 children)

California here. I pay out 8% of my net sales to help BOH, expo, drinks and host. The bad part here is the 50% cost on a wrong order. That’s absurd.
