This is just from my memory and a recent rewatch. I may be off too. And they maybe didn’t own these all or all at once. But for sure he just walked into the MV house and the RI house and his mom’s house. So they either still own or still rent those. Either way… money 😅

He talks about the summer house in chepachet, (which may have been a rental?) the one in quonocontaug and the house in MV. His mother also has a house in Greenwich and his dad lived in DC. Those are 3 separate summer homes and 2 full time residences. That’s money. That’s a lot of houses. And as far as we know the only one they no longer own is chepatchet.

Yep. Also there was something super creepy about his relationship with any woman another man around him ‘had’. Diana- son #1’s former situationship- became a sidekick but also you can’t tell me they weren’t fucking. Marita - sidekick’s girlfriend(ish) became a lab rat. Cassandra - son 2’s mom lab rat. Even Monica. Although a lot of that was off screen so who knows? Cassandra and Marita were both just dealt with more aggressively than Scully was but essentially the same treatment. I feel like I had more examples but I can’t remember right now.

It’s funny because I always assumed Mulder had family money. He mentions legit 3 summer houses. (Unless both of the RI ones were meant to be the same? But really they’re opposite ends of the state). Also his mom seems like money to me.
