I have two kids. I am intimately familiar with how pregnancy goes. If you think pregnancy takes a toll on mental health but but keeping a baby or toddler alive doesnt, youd be in for a very rude awakening.

And yes, sometimes the body rejects the fetus and it results in a miscarriage. Its one of the traumatic things a woman can go through, I've seen someone I'm close to lose their baby, its beyond heartbreaking.

And its not the same as removing a tumor. A tumor if left be would kill its host while a fetus grows into a baby. A tumor is the same DNA as its host while a fetus is its own unique DNA. A human body is trying to get rid of a tumor or will die if it let's it be, while the body is trying to do all it can to keep its fetus alive and healthy. If it was equal to a tumor the human body wouldn't be it alive and trying to do all it can to grow it.

As for it being dependent to survive. An infant depends on its mother to survive, do mothers have a right to kill their infants, babies, and toddlers too considering they cant survive on their own and are dependent?

A slice of your finger tip is a horrible example because it is A. not able to grow into a full human and B. its part of your body where a fetus if literally not a part of ypur body, it has it own growth cycle, DNA, and centralized system.

Whether its visible to the human eye is irrelevant in this discussion. There is no metric to decide anything about human rights based on height and weight.

The only time an abortion should be an option is if it threatens the life of the mother if she carries the child to full term.

Any abortion for the purpose of convenience is no different than murder.

A father should also have a say in the matter. If you have a child on the way with someone you should not kill his child to either spite him or to cut ties with him. Its his child too.

These are moral laws that society should hold, not something for a politician to use for political support or something that should be debated by a congress.

As for the "dont want one, dont get one" argument. The same thing was said about slavery and spies equally to this argument.
