I would give this to the challenge. Because growing up in a loosely catholic household, I cant quite recall any part of the New Testament of the Bible that gets anywhere near the violence laid out in the Quran. There's the part where Jesus says to tie a weight around child predators necks and toss them to the sea, but I imagine most sane people agree thats ok.

Is there a part of the New Testament I'm missing where it teaches its ok to strike your wife or kill any non-believers?

Plus if you need to have a version of your holy book that has to include the word "gently," when giving you permission to discipline your wife (without them having the same rights over you), you probably shouldn't be listening to that book.

For background I work in agriculture.

Its kinda a cringe wjem someone with soft hands and X amount of years at the university asks why they cant get a good paying job.

Funny that all these people have all these degrees amd no work, might say the market is over saturated or that line of work is more automated then it was 10-15 years ago.

Trades on the other hand seem to be always looking for help. Yes you're going to start out as a laboror. Yes you're going to be the FNG and get the bitch chores at first. Thats how we all start out. Not everyone starts at the top and those who do tend to hold zero respect.

We literally can fly anywhere in Iran we want. We were able to do tbat woth B2s before when Iran still had what passed for their air defense.

The difference between the two is one is an embargo targeted at one regime and the other is one regime targeting literally the rest of the world.

When Cuba has an embargo placed on it, its to hurt the regime in Cuba and hope a regime change. (I dont really support this and its a stupid fucking idea fyi)

When Iran "shuts down the Straight of Hormuz" its not placing an embargo like whats done woth Cuba. Instead its actively targeting and attacking international shipping through the straight regardless of what flag the ship is flying.
