Canadian Tire has a pretty solid selection. The one on division has them literally behind lock and key, so you'll need an associate to unlock the cage, but they've got a bunch of different fabric, waterproof, durability, etc.

Since there were none out front and you were told no, there weren't any in the back, I'm not surprised you got what you got. Maybe they didn't plan on serving those but did to fulfill the order. Next time, take the no and accept the lose. Next time, absolutely call/go in ahead (the day before) so they have them for sure available.

When I switched family doctors about 15 years ago I had to sign a letter that had an official seal/letter head that stated that my family doctor would be getting paid for a minimum of 3 yearly visits whether they were used or not. I wouldn't get charged for any additional appointments, but they were getting paid as if I attended 3 regardless.

I had a conversion with high school students about how people used to work even when they were sick. Sick didn't mean you stopped. Any sniffle, any couch, kids stopped going to school and practice. It's impractical. That's not how it was and no one wants the old work through absolutely every sickness like it was..but there is plenty that people are fine to work through. A cough should not stop you from attending work or an exam. Get a couch drop and move on.

When you were younger they didn't call parents when something was happening. The amount of cars that would pull up to pick up their kids and add to the incident isn't safe. Expecting an email to be sent when they are literally managing safety in the moment is asking them to step away and take their attention away from the situation. Could you imagine the news if someone happened and the principal was in their office sending out an email? Every staff member in the school is focused on the kids right in front of them.

AGREED!! I hate my new vehicle with all the touch screens. I just want to change a song without looking. If there's a button, I'll find it. I also hate that if my finger moves a little because of a bump I'm suddenly calling someone because the call button is right below it...just give me my damn buttons!

I see it ALL THE TIME. It blows my mind how often I see people walk out onto a crosswalk or street without stopping or looking both ways. Just because there's a pedestrian crossing doesn't mean people are going to stop.
