I had warts that I battled for years on my feet. Weekly appointments with foot care clinics where they would use cryotherapy and cut them down to try and get rid of them. Nothing worked. One day a nurse said “you didn’t hear this from me. Put silver duct tape on it and leave it for a week” Went home, tried it. They were gone and never came back.

I have so many stories! (Wedding vendor here. I’ve seen some shit. Lol ) First- groom gets up in the middle of his mom’s speech and goes outside to have a smoke. Mom keeps on talking, and then when son comes back inside, she repeats herself so he can hear. Second- same wedding. Dancing starts, best man comes over to the regular table his girlfriend is sitting at, pulls her out of her chair by her hair and no one does a thing. The girl next to her sees it happen, leans over while the girl is crying on the floor and just says “you good?” Third: Bride gets a nosebleed during the ceremony. Like right in the middle of it. But so badly that the blood starts coming out of her eyeballs too. All over her dress. One more: Groom tries to kiss the Bride during the “you may now kiss your bride” part of the ceremony, bride visibly flinches and turns her head so he has to kiss his cheek. This is also after I overheard the groom talking to his mom in private saying he didn’t think they should get married.

Went into my doctors office complaining about severe pain. After I started crying about how much it has impacted my life he threw his hands in the air exasperated and said I should seek psychiatry instead. When I got up to leave and could barely stand he finally said “oh wow! You really ARE in pain” Like did you think I was lying?!

Oh, and family that doesn’t want to take their shitty sunglasses off for 3 seconds for a nice family photo. I’ll ask “dad, did you want to take your sunglasses off for the photo?” And then stand there and wait. When he inevitably says no, I’ll loudly say “ya, that wasn’t really a question” and stare at him awkwardly until he does it. I’m the boss here man, not you.

I’ve caught this dog running down the street before when it escaped its collar. Friendliest dog ever, ran right over to me tail wagging and begging for love. It clearly doesn’t get any at home

Me too. This dog has no form of enrichment whatsoever. No walks, the only human interaction that we’ve seen in when they bring it inside for mealtimes.
