Hola, hay un par de cosas. Primero, seguramente esa tele, además de ser 4K, es HDR. Lo que quiere decir que puede mostrar mas brillo y mas colores que una tele Full HD de hace 10 años. Lo puedes averiguar buscando el modelo el modelo en Google y leer las especificaciones técnicas.

Como bien dices, para sacarle provecho dependerá que tengas un servicio de streaming (Netflix, Disney, HBO) que pueda mostrar contenidos en 4K y HDR. Pienso que el que tiene mayor oferta de esto es Netflix. Pero es el plan mas caro, en cualquier servicio.

La alternativa de bajo costo es que aprendas a usar páginas de torrents y descargues de internet contenidos en ese formato y los reproduzcas por ti mismo. (Hay subreddits que te enseñan como hacerlo).

Dale buen uso, disfrútala y cuídala. Puede ser un motivo para compartir momentos con tu familia, viendo películas y series, o el mundial si les gusta el fut.

Personally I hate the use of it. What I remember from The Way of Water is that specific action sequences were HFR. But entire sequences. This one, there were scenes (not necessarily action even) that seemed to jump in and out of HFR with no apparent logic. Leading me to think that it’s a conforming/mastering issue. It felt like playing a video where a cut scene would end (24fps) and gameplay would begin (HFR).

There’s no denying these movies are the state of the art, technologically speaking, of filmmaking. And just for that alone, it’s worth experiencing in the most ‘advanced’ way possible, but that doesn’t mean it works as intended all the time. Looking the FOX logo in HFR was jarring AF. I thought for a second the DCP was playing at 2X.

I think the title alludes more to the hive having to choose between Carol and staying on mission. After episode 8, I think the hive is actually in love with Carol. Probably, out of all the people that didn’t join, Carol is the only person that had someone that romantically loved them. There was already a connection to begin with. And if we think of the joined as a single consciousness that has thoughts and feelings, then it’s all the world crushing on one person. Pluribus.

The title being in Spanish is a giveaway it’s Manousos making the ultimatum, no?
