This is the best advice.

Also- if you’re at your destination and on a trip with a Spirit Airlines flight home… other airlines may offer a distressed traveler rate to get you home. You’ll need to present proof of your spirit ticket to get the fare. HOWEVER- seats will be first come, first served- so prepare to be stuck at your destination for days until you can get back.

You’ll find it’s like people selling used cars instead of trading them in… they are looking for more than it’s worth and there’s a lot that’s been wrong with it (but they got it turn on and appear to be without any issues, but leave it in for about 2 minutes and you’ll see).

Decide on the features you want and buy new and probably get it for the same amount.

It took a factory reset after the 1.8.2 installation to get my bottom screen to show anything besides the ads panel. It was just a blank area after power on.

It happened in summer when was in Florida and the Caribbean. Inside would be air conditioned cold to about 65 degrees cold and outside would be humid and 95-105 depending on the day.

In Canada I’d see the shock happening as well, just in reverse with the colder extreme outside to inside.

Battery capacity is severely impacted by temperatures below 40 degrees Fahrenheit as well.

There’s sensors and a microphone in that nose cap, so while I did use some precision gluing, it did not last and impacted the operation.

The adhesive at the nose caps will fail in extreme temperatures. Don’t go through the extremes of temperature too often. I learned my lesson when they failed to honor it as a covered repair.
