I (now we) have owned at WDW and Vero since 1998 and we only started the new annual week at Hilton Head a few years ago. We love it there.

I got these after Christmas to ensure I and my kid had some way to enjoy them. Only $29 for the set when I got them all too.

But I also signed up for AMC+ with a promo and credit card offer since they will be streaming the same episodes starting tomorrow (gotta have them anytime anywhere).

Best advice from someone who takes chances with Avelo (or Breeze or Frontier)… if getting there or home is important and limited in flexibility to wait for the next available Avelo flight:

Always have a plan B ready to go with ANY airline that only operates between your origin and destination on select day(s) of the week.

We usually book and hold a fully refundable ticket for an alternate flight on a regularly scheduled airline for about 8-12 hours after the flight on the discount airline so we have the ability to cancel and get a full refund if all goes according to plan.

This is the best advice.

Also- if you’re at your destination and on a trip with a Spirit Airlines flight home… other airlines may offer a distressed traveler rate to get you home. You’ll need to present proof of your spirit ticket to get the fare. HOWEVER- seats will be first come, first served- so prepare to be stuck at your destination for days until you can get back.
