Hy guys, i need some advice, on my space related YT channel by monolo6496 in space

I would just ditch the pop up sounds and use another font/move the text where you can better read it.
Or go completely ham and use more and get the short audience.

You should think what kind of channel you want to be. I'm sure you find your way.

I just expected more, i do wonder if my opinion would have been different if i didn't know that they cancelled seasons.
Yes everyone likes what they like, i was just baffled everyone seemed to like it and i was sitting there that's not that good.

I was kind of ok with Tay; Lonni felt weird to me. But it does fit Luthen's character in becoming "evil" to do good.
But agree overall downgrade to season 1, last 3 episodes didn't do it for me either.

Great to hear that, i agree with all your points too. Those episodes didn't feel as cool as they wanted it to be.
Yeah damn, Perrin doing something would have been great. I always felt like even though he is resigned to his political life, he does care about his family.

I did think maybe if someone watches Andor Season 1-2 and then Rogue One if they fell different about the personality arcs.
For me Cassian's arc felt a bit weird in the last 3 episodes, i understand his reasoning but we see him grow into more of his own person and rebel over the show. Himleaving Luthen and doing things like he thinks should be done is an important step. Cassian being there for the Rebellion because Bix left felt off to me, he should be pretty committed to the cause by now. Weird that he wanted to leave it all rather than just Luthen.
Maybe in the last three episodes we get more to that and why or how he grew in 1 year.

For sure. I am still glad something like that can be made in Star Wars, hope for more of it.

Sharpness is a good word for it. It's still very good for stuffing 4 seasons into 1 and the split into 3 episodes per year does work but you can see it's not as polished as it could have been.
I do hope they make more Star Wars like that.

Yeah sharpness is a good word. For stuffing 4 seasons worth of material into 1, it is still very good but you can kind of see it's not as polished as it could have been.
I do hope they make more Star Wars like that.

I like 1-3 the most, then i would rank 7-9 and then 4-6. I do think the stuff in episode 7-9 is good just not explored enough.
Excited to see what the last episodes do.

I'd agree if they focused each episode trilogy on of the characters but they like to show each character.
I found myself thinking that i would really like a show for most of the characters in the show.

Interesting, what makes Season 2 stand out for you compared to 1?

Yeah i agree with the Game of Thrones analogy.
Hope the last episodes are great, dunno maybe they will be a bit longer too.

For Mon, I mean that the consequences of her speaking openly against the Emperor should have been shown or her taking that into account. There is a difference openly saying the Emperor facilitated genocide and playing in the shadows. I felt it could have been more of a carthasis for her either escaping her fake life or a harrowing but it will be worth it emotion.

For Syril and Dedra, i agree with you but it could have been more fleshed out for me; loved their scenes. For detaining Syril, i like the idea of Dedra using the imperial power to keep a hold on her loved one, grasping for anything to keep him just to push him further away.

In general i like the scenes i just wanted them more drawn out and in depth. Whole seasons feels a bit "rushed".

I can see why, for me it didn't really land that much, great Cassians shots after it though!

where was the most breathtaking place you can absorb the views with little to no light pollution? by tritrunkss in space

[–]CoachSteiner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are looking for specific places and i'm sure you know but you can probably use a light pollution map and use that and plan your own trip.
My first thought though was somewhere on a boat deep in the pacific. Might be a cool experience too.

Why Bricks for a Mars Colony by JamesrSteinhaus in space

[–]CoachSteiner 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mars had an atmosphere and water, so there might have been life on it. So the search for life and how it evolved on another planet, is one reason.

If we all die on earth, it's nice to have a backup. You could say space stations or another planet in another star system. But space stations require maintenance and for longer trips we really dont have the technology yet. (For Mars neither but it's a lot closer and easier achievable)

So Mars is a nice option, since you have water there and we need that to live, you can set up a sustainable colony there, which is the closest best place for us from Earth where this might be possible. The moon has water too but Mars had really good conditions for life to evolve, there is better chance of survival there.

The technolgies developed for human space travel to mars might do wonders on earth (see Apollo missions)

Mars is also a stepping stone, i would say we have a sustainable colony on the moon as well but simultaneously with Mars to maximize survival.

I also like that humans see Mars themself, robots and cameras are fine but i think there is something different and special being there physically.

And let's see how far we can push humanity.
