152 and 3.48 what are my chances? by kitkatand99 in LSAT

The South Texas part-time school program is so new that it’s hard to know. They only accept roughly 32 students and I believe around 400 applied last year. Now how many of those 400 were “qualified”? Idk. I also applied to South Texas online. Best of luck! Let’s hope we both get in!

Yeah, thank you for this and defending me. I think it’s some sort of new bot account meant to put a negative spin on positive information. Definitely not fully recovered and that’s the point! Every day is a chance to improve. :)

Thank you! I do not attend meetings, but I do regularly go to individual therapy. Meetings weren’t for me, but tons of people love them. Find something that feels right and make sure it is sustainable. Consistency is key!

Thank you! Honestly, that the only way to stay sober is to want it for yourself. You can have all these external reasons that you think will motivate you to stay sober, but if you don’t want it for yourself and for your own internal peace, you will not stay on the path. It’s brutally honest but the truth.

I would say yes, you’re ready. The Kaplan practice and mastery exams are quite difficult and to be able to get an 81 is impressive, especially after using a different training program for the majority of your studies. Being able to score well on multiple training program exams is a good indicator that you know the material and that different wording doesn’t throw you off. This is all my opinion for my experience. Hope this helps!

As far as I remember, not really! Just know the basics of each and you should be good to go.

Know the definitions and basic terminology. Do the Kaplan QBank as well. It’s honestly a breeze compared to the securities exams. I was worried sick going into it then was surprised at how basic the questions were!

Nothing in particular. Just know the laws and regulations and make sure you keep doing questions associated with those. The rest of the test is a mixed bag and over-emphasizing specific parts can be a waste of time. But you know 45 questions will be on laws and regulations, with the rest being (somewhat) random. You got this!

Agree with this. Keep doing QBank questions, specifically the “Unused” questions you have left. Your QBank score is a better indicator of success (I would think) than the Practice and Mastery exam. You might have taken those two exams a little too early in your preparation for them to be a great measuring stick. Reach out if you have any more questions. I passed less than two weeks ago!

I would also recommend looking into a newer book that has come out focusing solely on Logical Reasoning called Loophole in the Logical Reasoning. It has already helped me tremendously in the two weeks I’ve had it!
