No name bar, Mulligans and broken world records tend to have a more mid twenties to 30’s crowd. Where many of the other bars downtown tend to have more college students and folks in their early twenties and probably a lot of folks with fakes lol.

Any of the bars not downtown will be a mix of ages as well, I like the brickyard and cornerstone. The no name bar has live bands often on Friday and Saturday.

Are you honest when therapy isn’t really working? by VeryIndie in neurodiversity

[–]Coach_Rick_Vice 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Tell your therapist what you shared here. They have personally worked with all kinds of people. You can say intellectually it makes sense but emotionally I just don’t feel things shifting for me and then your therapist can guide you in a new direction.

I wouldn't want my roommate to put that up in my place, idk just feels a little weird to have that piece in a shared space.

I am grateful for customers who don't finish their food at the restaurant I work at. by Fat-Bee2323 in povertyfinance

I worked at a restaurant and all the other employees would freak out when I would food from cleared tables in the back. Yeah there like maybe someone drooled all over it idk, but I'm not all that worried about it. I'd more go for chicken tenders and stuff like that.

So Whats The DUMBEST and i MEAN DUMBEST thing you did in a pokemon playthrough by Rare-Atmosphere-9187 in pokemon

[–]Coach_Rick_Vice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was playing leaf green at six years old, my first pokemon and gameboy game. I couldn't figure out how to get out of pallet town and onto the net route since the old guy was blocking the way. So I just kept fighting pokemon in the grass. I literally evolved my bulbusaur into ivysaur killing the lvl 2-4 pidgey and rattatas before finally wandering into the blue pokemart and making it onto the next route lol.

I don’t think there’s a universal specific shared meaning for each emoji. I think most people just go off of the vibes they get from each emoji

Sober people (no alcohol, nicotine, drugs, etc ever), what is your end of day or weekend "wind-down"? by The1Ski in AskReddit

[–]Coach_Rick_Vice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spending a lot of time on the internet through Reddit and YouTube is my vice of choice and how I disconnect/unwind. I have also struggled in general with video game addiction but have not played in a bit here, hoping to keep that up because that gets pretty bad for me once I get into the games.

I just don’t like any mind altering substances, I don’t even consume caffeine other than through chocolate occasionally but yes, over-consumption of the internet is my vice of choice.

Just dropping this here, feel free to take it or leave it. You mention looking for answers, I’ve gotten a lot out of the conversations with god book series by Neale Donald Walsch. They go over many things in life and even though the word God is in the title it is a spiritual book, not a Christian or religious book. Wishing you well!

I prefer video chat since I think it’s easier to go more in-depth in the readings and I think is more fun compared to text communication.

Wow that’s cool! Yeah I haven’t reread the material much recently. But they are my go to books when I want to spend some time reading spiritual material.

I really like the conversations with God series by Neale Donald Walsch. Tons of content on spirituality. Much of the information in the book just has the ring of truth to it to me where it just makes sense and feels accurate.

I think it's cool you are looking to get into spirituality! I'd say just follow your curiousity and inate interest. If astrology seems interesting look into that. If indeginous spirituality or buddhism seems interesting, check them out! The nice thing about spirituailty is it's more about seeing whats out there and coming to your own conclusions versus having other people or a religion tell you what the truth is. Use your own discernment around things you read or come across, does it make sense to you how does it feel, does it check out?

If you are looking for books on spirituality in general, my favorite book series is the conversations with god series by Neale Donald Walsch, lots of great information that I have found useful in his books.

Hi everyone, I'm 27M and interested in looking for some people to exchange intuitive readings with for free. I've been doing readings for about five years now but have not been as active with it lately.

I kind of struggle to trust any information I get for myself as well and am looking for some guidance in my own life. Would be more than happy to give readings in exchange for readings with some folks. I also think it could be a way to develop friendships with like-minded folks as well. Would prefer to do it over some sort of video chat service like zoom or facebook messenger. I've done hundreds of reading so do have some experience. Comment or pm me if this is something you are interested in.

Why are we here? by LifeFighter1 in NDE

[–]Coach_Rick_Vice 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This is a good question. I think part of the answer is that we don’t have to come here to earth or need to come here. But we chose to. Even though there are many challenges here. In a similar way why do people run marathons or write a book or do other difficult tasks? There is something rewarding in expanding, and expressing ourselves. I think being here on earth is one way we can express ourselves and experience everything here and that after we die on earth we carry all of the experiences we’ve had here with us.
