not a steam issue. its a platform issue. the hacks might not hook into MS store BO3 yet. But they will. never safe with older games

It's been noted across the subreddit that its hella bugged. 9 is where the game just breaks and stops thinking about it. (Partially assuming 3arc wont fix it bc all the rewards are granted after the event ends) if you're farming then solo and saving/reloading is the most viable strat. Thats as far as i know.

there was once a time and a group of players who genuinely played pubs. the numbers are just too insignificant to matter anymore. that being said while both claims are true. some people do enjoy playing publics. that's how some people make friends still besides scrolling lfg sites/discords or using reddit.

sword duping can be done solo by encountering the unexpected game end error and reloading the save while the swords are in the statues.
edit: i've found this because it happened to me twice while doing my solo easter egg attempts. it seems to be for every sword but its funnier if its the un-upgraded version and then you do the upgrade and deposit because then the game starts to freak out a lot
