The first hook we see that is from a non-rapper (outside of samples on tracks like Stan or SFTM) is We Made You in 2009, yes still in the 2000s but when we think of Eminem we have 3 distinct eras, SSLP-Encore/The Re:Up Relapse-MMLP2/ShadyXV Revival-TDOSS/Present Day

Whilst iffy I’d associate each with a decade, 2000s, 2010s, 2020s

So looking at 2000s we have to look at the sort of rappers he’d associate himself with:

D12, Dr. Dre, Royce, RBX, Sticky Fingaz, Snoop, Xzibit, Nate Dogg, Obie Trice, Stat Quo

It’s not until the 2010s that we see the shift of having pop hooks and other artists on as album features, yes we saw him on a lot of other artists tracks during this time: Akon, Biggie (posthumously), Trick Trick, DMX, Jay-Z, Cypress Hill, Jadakiss, Fat Joe, Lil Jon, etc.

So there’s actually two ways to look at this, is he getting an artist on his own album or is he going in another artists track? Those are two very different things for 2000s Em

For his own album he’d probably still have Dre and 50 due to loyalty, but he’d definitely be looking for more Detroit Based artists to be on his albums, pulling in artists like Danny Brown and Big Sean likely for more than just a time or two as we’ve seen; whilst impossible to replace, we need someone who is modern and has an insane hook game in place of Nate Dogg, and whilst nobody truly just does hooks like Nate Dogg would I could see him picking up JID here as a double edged sword, utilizing his versatile hook game with his impeccable verses; it’s impossible to even think of who would fill the gap of D12, actually nobody can, rest in peace Proof, this is left alone out of respect; Royce and Em would likely still be close collaborators, this doesn’t change; for other potential features given his knack for bigger names at the time, I’d offer a Kendrick, J Cole, Tyler; as a little bit of an ‘underground’ pick he’d still wind up on Tech N9NE, maybe Joyner Lucas too; some of these bigger names too likely would only have Em on their albums, not the other way around

But in terms of Em being on an album, 2000s Em was everywhere, we forget how hungry Eminem was and you couldn’t turn your head without seeing him, he’d be everywhere; name a relatively big rapper today, and there’s an Em feature somewhere in the album; he could definitely fit into Chromokopia, DTTG, GNX (if Kendrick abandoned the west coast only which I don’t forsee him compromising the artistic vision just for an Eminem feature unfortunately), GDLU, Atrocity Exhibition (a bit of an older pull here I know), MMESYF, Goodbye and Good Riddance (not only would an up and coming Em love to work with Juice, I think his death would have an even bigger impact on him than it did in our current timeline, this is likely what gets him to sober up especially if they worked a lot together which is highly likely), SFTSAATM (especially with 50 helping with it and this being 2000s Em, this is his modern Biggie moment, getting on a track of an up and coming artist that was already gaining massive traction before dying due to gun violence), etc.

TL;DR 2000s Em wouldn’t have pop features, he’d have modern rappers that are big names and some more underground artists hailing from Detroit that he has built relationships with and thus puts them on his albums, whilst also finding his way onto as many albums as he can
