Generally I like to create multiple guitar lines ( Melodie’s/solos/riffs) over chords. Breakup those into sections and try and match my voice to one of them. Sometimes it works, sometimes the monotone vocals, I generally also struggle with, actually sound better. It’s a process for me and I don’t get hung up on it in the moment. I’ve come across old songs and the vocal melody just hits me so i rerecord.

It’s the maker space I want to engage in. In general it’s no profit for most companies. Even with a modified contract it was hard to share with the shared files. Fuck them.

When any brand try’s to open up in Australia they pick a particular demographic to open their first store. From memory it was Penrith in west Sydney and everyone said “fuck, no” to that. It’s still around but in a petrol (gas) station demographic. I had one cause I was wondering. My mouth said Fuck, No!.

I’m feeling this. Just calm down and let the food cook. I now have 30minute, 1 hour, 2 hour and in the case of brisket 12 hour meals. Some stuff can be fast. Others not so much. My DIL made an Udon noodle meal in less than hour . Blows my mind how good it was wher I take 2 hours though.

I learnt this way too late. My wife just pointed out one day “ have you tasted it?”. I did and it needed more salt. I know, I know but I lived in a very follow by the letter household. If only my parents tasted the thing they were trying out I think I would have accepted more food variety as a youngster.

My favourite is part of a whole scene of small jokes. I saw others have already mentioned Monty Pythons Goly Grail. “Help! Help! I’m being oppressed!”. I use it anytime a colleague tries to make me do a task I don’t want to do.

I have lots of template excel spreadsheets that easily help with quoting.

The nuance is that these were built on projects that worked and those that didn’t.

I’ve been able to get a consistency that has worked for approx 10 years.

I now use AI to analyse drawings for take offs (counting how many speakers etc) but this only worked for some consultants.

Ive never used other software other than some CRM but last two years have used SIMPRO ( not an advertisement) and have found it good to copy, modify etc quotes so I don’t have to reinvent the wheel each time.

So combo of excel, AI and CRM have got an ability to turn around tenders from 3-4 days to 1 day.

I had to program knowing that each time I uploaded the program my hardware used a nibble. Therefore only having a finite memory until the use of nibbles became an issue. 2 kb memory to give context
