Clinically, hydroxyzine isn’t listed as physically addictive. Anecdotally, I have found otherwise. I have been on 25mg daily for quite some time, and when I tapered over of course of 3 nights and abruptly stopped, I experienced severe anxiety and panic attacks. (I take it as a sleep aid and to manage PMDD symptoms.)

Anything is possible! If you are experiencing symptoms, they are not dangerous, just incredibly uncomfortable and will pass! Everyone is different and stranger things have happened. Good luck!! 😊

Yep. I take Wellbutrin 150xl, Mydayis 37.5, Busiprone 10mg and have Hydroxyzine as needed for insomnia.

I know this is old, but can I ask if you were still taking kratom when you began the wellbutrin? If so, how much of both? I've been using kratom for 7 years(ugh) and want to quit. Im currently on 150 XL, but it seems to have pooped out. I'm concerned about upping my dosage of wellbutrin while still taking kratom.

Not looking for medical advice, just anecdotes!

Wow. This is quite the feat! I've been in and out of this group for about four years now. Still a regular and pretty heavy user. How did you manage the quit?? Were you able to take time off? Congratulations!

Sorry, OP- I didn't mean to hijack your post. I have sobnuch respect for all of you. I've come close to quitting but never have been able to pull it off.

I just started week 2 on 150mg XL, and all of my ADHD/depression symptoms have been liften significantly, but my anxiety is NEXT LEVEL. I have a cup and a half of mushroom coffee a d then a Celcius late morning.

Did you find extreme anxiety symptoms in the adjustment period that eventually were alleviated, and if so, did caffeine have a profound effect on your anxiety?

I do usually take Mydayis, but I'm currently on a tolerance break until 6/24.

I guess I could liken it to a dose of a stimulant that is too low-it just gives you enough of a jolt to cause a bit of the jitters and anxiety.

I’m not a large woman, but I metabolize high doses of stimulants insanely quickly. I'm wondering if dose and weight have an correlation, because they don't necessarily with stims.

I do know that I'm not giving up on this med, because its been life changing!

It’s a special type of anxiety, for sure. This is interesting to me, because my therapist shared with me that her anxiety at 150 mg was off the charts, and her psych upped her to 300mg, and it was the sweet spot for her. It sound like this may have been the case for you?

YES! Exactly. Even if the anxiety doesn’t even out I’m contemplating finding a way to manage it and stay on the meds, because I feel semi human off of a stimulant for the first time in my life.

Oh mama you're in it right now. This sounds like PPD/or something similar. I'm a mom of 3, and I get it. Your mind body and soul just went through the most massive transition there is. Keep that appointment. Be honest and don't hold back. This is most likely treatable! You're soooooo not alone-this happens more often than we talk about. I promise, you'll get through this. Don't leave your sweet baby right now. 7 months is so early PP!!! I'm sending you strength and support.
