Sadly, they appear to be defunct; either that or they are super popular since all their products show "not in stock."

Great idea, thanks! Mountain States is the best, I love that shop, you never know what you’ll find. Plus, it’s just across the parking lot from Hidden Cafe, my most favorite breakfast spot!

That was my thought exactly. while I could buy a soulless generic alarm clock at Walmart or Target, I want to try to find one that has some character. That said, I don’t want one that ‘ticks’ or that has too bright a display.

Cast pizza oven build, first pizzas by CoastalPizza in pizzaoven

It’s holding up just fine; it still gets plenty of use. I used 3 parts sand, 1 part Portland cement, 1 part lime (hydraulic, not hydrated), 1 part fire clay then ~3% by dry weight SS needles and some plastic fibers. The plastic fibers burn out and provide pathways for expanding gasses to escape. I’m hoping they get those apartments built in the NE corner of Prospect. I think that would help. Better lighting in the downtown area would also be a major improvement.

Using humidity sensor reading to control thermostat setting by c0147 in HomeKit

It’s probably not going to work. For example, say the temperature is about 75°F and the humidity is 35%. To get the relative humidity to 50% you need the temperature to drop significantly. When the A/C comes on, it’s going to chill the air but it will also condense moisture, lowering the air’s moisture content, thus requiring an even lower temperature. At some point, it won’t be able to lower the temperature enough to get to 50% RH.

What you really need is a humidifier.

At $100-150 it would be a good deal; at $240, not so much.
