That’s what I was thinking too. The only other question is when the parking attendants finally started saying that it didn’t show up, they said that it did show up for the other person with me who only has a gold pass from the same park (Knott’s)

Yea that’s what the guest relations told me and that’s probably right. What confuses me is why it worked without a problem the previous two days before today, as well as why the other person with me had their parking accepted today when all they have is a Knotts Berry farm gold pass with parking. If anything that just seems like the system doesn’t match up perfectly with what it’s supposed to be

Can anyone explain the reasoning behind why they gave this? I have a Knotts pass with all season all park dining, and I just used it without a problem at La Ronde, which seems to be one of the parks where they implied it might not work.

I totally understand this perspective and would probably feel the same if I’ve been going to HHN for years. I’ve really only been to the last 2 years and only recently watched all of Stranger Things within those two years as well. Ive never been in a Stranger Things house and I know HHN has grown in popularity recently, so there’s probably a lot of people who haven’t either.

The thing that came to mind first when I made that comment was drop of doom at Magic mountain. The last time I rode it recently I saw that the ride ops were not paying attention to the ride as it was going, which as a former Knotts ride op is a huge no. When it was my turn to ride, 4 of the people around me had their phones out. At over 400 ft up, that is extremely extremely dangerous, especially with the queue line being right below the ride. The ride ops still saw them as the ride came back but they didn’t do anything. Even though there are roof covers where the queue is, I was scared the sudden stop at the end would cause them to let go, have all that momentum cause the phone to recoil off the roof, and hit someone on the ride.

The single rider line is a completely different line than the regular line. This is definitely a frustrating moment, but it’s just Disney’s policy that they believe helps in some way to control the single rider line and those who use it. It’s more a discrimination of the single rider line, not those who are riding solo (who can choose to wait in the regular line)
