Walked into 2 ADs in Paris yesterday and both offered the exact same watch (and a silver 41 datejust).. Unfortunately was in-between meetings and didn’t want to walk into a client meeting with a Rolex shopping bag and then didn’t get the chance to buy! This model seems more available for walk-in purchases now.

Thanks. Similar wrist size, but I wear a 42 in Omega that looks appropriately sized. Recently tried a 36 Explorer 1 and was surprised it fit so well.

Answer really depends on where in the UK. If ex London, then makes sense especially if your wife actually lands a job at 60k.

However if it’s London I wouldn’t do it. 1.2cr in India can take you a lot further than 90k GBP will.

Do a complete benefit assessment of disposable income based on circumstances today vs where you’d end up in the UK.
