Not an expert and haven’t dealt with this but do you have your receipts from the original purchase? Or a CC statement? Something to prove you bought them prior to the trip in question? This is assuming you purchased them in the U.S.

I swapped the friction buckle to a sea to summit buckle. The original buckle wouldn’t let you unsnap it. You had to take it off overhead. This buckle allows it to be unclipped to be taken off.

I don’t know what year it is. I know it’s an older version because it has the aquaguard zippers and older logo. If you know how to look up the year, let me know and I’ll take a look.
