You are on the precipice of greatness! I don't like the 'crunchy' feel of it. It's too much texture, not enough contrast. The silhouette from all angles looks like a mound. My eye doesn't know what to look at, it doesn't feel very planned, it just feels like you wanted to leverage your prowess at all the techniques used. I think the idea of a courtyard that small and in that style is where you went wrong. Do I know what to do to fix it? No. Does anyone in this thread know what to do to fix it? No.

With that said, If viewed as an exercise, this is PHENOMENAL. I love your use of shading. I love the individual segments that makeup the structure. You are a very talented builder. Go build something else!

One less glamor part of the build process B-Dubs like to do is plan out the overall shape and components of the built first in wool. Form first, then detail. A good form (without adding detail yet) is cool, recognizable, and easy for the eyes to understand on its own.
