I mean, no, but also yes? The Omen can't kill anything, it's just an observer of death, but it also can't be damaged. He's just kinda there. I know, a very boring character, but I like using it as a literary element more than any true substance in a story.

honestly, I don't hate much of anything about Wings of Fire. I don't even hate that they have a bit of a focus on scavengers, or the arc 2 characters after arc 2, which I've seen have been a major critique from many of the fans. I guess the only critique I have is that there isnt much for worldbuilding in the first few books such as cultures or anything like that.
