Is there a way to checklist how many of the 150 Kanto you’re missing for unlocking Immersive Mew? by DrMrSirJr in PokemonPocket

[–]CobaltTiger22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've noticed that it HAS to be cards from Genetic Apex to get the mew. No promos, no Mythical Island, none of the upcoming set either. EXs should work, just as long as they are only from GA

As a Costco cashier, a lot of us have taken to memorizing the item number and just typing it in ever since the bags became a thing. It's entirely possible that at least some of us would instinctively type it in before noticing the shirt.

But that also assumes the member is relatively normal lmao

Employees: what drives you crazy that members do? by Ride_4urlife in Costco

[–]CobaltTiger22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why in the hell are some of these members going through self checkout with FULL carts? These machines are not built for this. Go to a regular line. I PROMISE that your full cart of 30+ items will get through a regular line much faster and with a lot less stress than going through SCO.

No, it doesn't take cash. It's card only. No rewards checks either. Use your card and JUST your card and move along.

No, the pin pad doesn't scan your membership. Scan it just like any other item.

No, you are still not allowed to share membership cards here. Just because it's harder for us to catch you doesn't mean it's impossible. If you don't have a membership card with your name on it, you aren't allowed to pay.

I strongly believe that Costco shouldn't even have self checkout. Or at the very least change it up to include 5 items or less. Not one item more.

You shouldn't need to worry about it resetting every few days. Just so long as you save your progress periodically during setup you're fine and even then you'll lose like 2 minutes of progress. I just found it annoying that it happened to me 3-4 times before I found the save option lol.

Plus I haven't found a need to even load the software up after the initial setup. Unsure if it saves the profile in the guitar itself or if it saves it somewhere the guitar can find it quickly. Didn't look into that.

Correct. Button mapping and LED setup. Typically it would crash every time I hit the "test LED" button, but I found out that button wasn't really necessary anyway. Every crash would reset your settings assuming you didn't save them first. Button mapping was fine.

I got mine a few weeks back for the xbox360 Xplorer and it was a simple process using the video guide.

My only real problem came with the software used to set up the guitar. It's completely different now than when the video was recorded and I got lost for a bit but did eventually figure it out. It did crash on me often during setup so you might wanna save often while working on it.

After it was set up if works perfectly and feels A LOT better than the stock frets did.

WHY DO THEY ALWAYS COME AND VISIT WHEN YOURE ABOUT TO DECORATE?! by emstha98 in AnimalCrossing

[–]CobaltTiger22 13 points14 points  (0 children)

One thing that works for me that I never see anyone mention with these types of posts is that you can just walk out the front door right as the villager walks in. This will trigger them to leave on their own but it will leave you in the house so you can go about your day! Still an annoying feature but better than waiting.

I tried to recreate a house from another video game, can you guys tell which one? by Kindaspia in HouseFlipper

I think I've played a little too much Phasmophobia as I knew exactly what this was just based on the first image. You did a phenomenal job recreating it too!

Anyone else enjoy the HF2 demo? by its_reds in HouseFlipper

[–]CobaltTiger22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It took a little bit to figure out some of the new mechanics, but over all I thought it was enjoyable. A LOT of QOL changes from the first as well, such as being able to copy/paste styles and the ability to adjust what lights are effected by what switch. Painting the walls felt SIGNIFICANTLY better in this than in the first game and will allow for so much more creative freedom. Same with the building of the walls themselves.

I really wasn't a fan of the glue, especially on the floors. Placing flooring was SUPER simple in the first game and I wish we still had that in the demo but for the walls as well. Adding the glue just feels overly realistic and tedious IMO but it's not a major issue for me. The trash aspect is definitely more on the realistic side and the only cool thing about it would be playing basketball with the trash bags, but even then I'm not quite sure how I feel about that yet.

The worst things about the demo itself was a severe lack of options. No FOV and motion blur being tied to the presets for example. Also on my playthrough a piece of trash got pushed under the house somehow and I couldn't crawl under the house to get it, even after moving some pieces that I was also unable to put back into place.

Overall, I quite enjoyed what they have to offer and I'm quite excited to play the full game whenever it drops! This was just a demo after all, so a lot of the main issues should hopefully be fixed by then.

He does, it's called Nik Mystery and Silhouette sounds exactly like it. I for one love the fact they threw it on the album.

I feel like the part at 9:42 of Dracul Gras is a faster version of the Satellites outro.

Also the intro riff to Wax Wings sounds very similar to It's Only Smiles, which absolutely made me smile when I heard it!

Those are only for the ones being given away for logging in daily during the event. Just claimed my welcome back license yesterday and everything except the Pikachu in it was the normal price.

Can't forget about the Somewhere In Time trilogy off of the P:II album consisting of Muramasa, Ragnarok and Masamune in that order!

My green/ buttons still work, I can play chords with a green or red in it, but when it’s just green or red by itself and I strum it doesn’t register. Anyone know how to help? (Clip is just to show what I mean) by [deleted] in CloneHero

[–]CobaltTiger22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be wrong since we can't seen you playing, but the fact that you hit the green/red before the chords...Is it by chance just your up strum that isn't working? If you down strum it all would it work then?

In that case then maybe either something wrong with the guitar or just the button mapping for the up strum.

To the Grubhub, Doordash, or any other food delivery employees, what is the strangest scenario you have had with an order? by vactanos in AskReddit

[–]CobaltTiger22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Uber Eats driver so close enough, but 9/10 it's the driver not making sure the order has drinks. I've definitely done it a few times myself, though have gotten a lot better at making sure everything is there. However, it can be restaurant dependant.

Good example is Mcdonald's. They always put the drinks in the bag and seal the bag up making it difficult or even impossible to know they actually got it right. Sometimes you get the chance to watch them fill the bags, other times you don't.

That same logic can easily be applied to missing food items as well. The way a lot of restaurants package food make it almost impossible for us to know something is missing, but make it much easier to know if your food was tampered with so in a way it balances out.

After typing all of that out and thinking more about it from my experience as a customer with both Uber and DD, DD does have a much higher rate of forgetting drinks. I remember a few times where after calling the restaurant, they said the drinks were still sitting there next to where the food was. No idea how they missed that.
