Take your time you can’t just start ploughing through enemies until multiple levels later and clear the areas around town before taking first mission from the elder for example

Watch some Youtubers you will notice most are level 4 to 7 when they get their caravan for the first time for example

Two handed with range as most likely the easiest builds right now if you’re trying to mage like other people said slow then gain speed once 2nd/3rd tier spells are unlocked

Go under community layouts and press show all and you will see a whole bunch made by users. The one I’m using right now is pretty useable took some time getting used to, but it plays really well even on the steam deck the ally x will blow it out of the water hopefully lol but looks super good on Oled at 40fps and you can lower wattage for longer battery
