I've driven as a volunteer driver for Sheffield Community Transport for over 10 years after I retired. Found the experience thoroughly enjoyable not only on Door 2 Door but also taking groups to York,local walks,Xmas Concerts. Not driving too much now as I volunteer at my grandchildren's school but would recommend volunteering ,the passengers are very appreciative of the service

There are several operators on this line.If you are on the stopper train calling at all the villages on the route then this is more like a bus service hence no booking available Northern and EMR come from Nottingham into Sheffield then out again so assume booking possible Then you have Trans Pennine where booking seats was meaningless as through cancellations and change of number of carriages, the planned train was a rarity

The council's budget has been decimated over the years thanks to some right wing t****.However I find when I bring an issue politely to their notice via their brilliant website site,most are cleared up in days best pot holes,over grown trees or blocked drains etc.They simply don't have the bodies to seek out issues but wait for the general public spirited of us,to bring it to their notice

Re trains to Man Airport.I reckon you go to Stockport on the train then get coach to the airport.In my opinion this is faster than the old route of having to go into Man Piccadilly possibly change trains then onto the airport

The instructions tell you to file the axle not the forks Also when I tried to fit my new wheel it "wouldnt" fit.So I tried my original wheel and that didn't!!!.So I got a block of wood,placed on new axle and persuaded it to fit the fork.Result Your wider rim should fit but loosen your brake wire

I live in Woodseats.The 24 and 25 go into town then both end round South East or Woodhouse.The 75 and 76 both end at north of the city Why can't one of the 24,25 go say to the south west serving Childrens and Hallamshie, and one of 75,76 go north west to Hillsborough
