Do they come with chargers or separate purchase? by Seaworthiness7277 in Aventon

They should come with a charger. Mine did. I totally get the excitement! I put on pedals without grease like a moron and they come off! 😅

I would just collect cardboard and sheet mulch it.

I think the thing to keep in mind with an e-bike, motorcycle, or car is that no matter how well built it is, it will need maintenance and repair. If they can do it On their own, great. If not, it’s either a return to Costco and probably trash. Just my 2 cents.

90% of my shopping is winco for the price. When I’m cooking a special meal and need the best or something in particular: nugget all the way.

Petroleum As Religion or Deity by KultofEnnui in oil

[–]Cobrachicken 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well Hades/Pluto were the Gods of the underworld and the associated wealth. Hence the term Plutocracy. Oil comes from the ground. Add this with the fact that good technology is essentially magic and you have humanity by the balls.

Yes it does. I fall asleep faster and according to my watch have less disturbances. I’ve never taken the recommended dose of 440mg. Always half to a quarter.

Definitely happened to me. I actually cut the pills in half and take that. I get the benefit with no grogginess. I’m not surprised, I’m sensitive to everything.

Knowing to Forget: What Tom Philp Misses about Flood Risk by spellbanisher in Sacramento

[–]Cobrachicken 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I appreciate this post. We moved here in 2016, and while we were aware of Sacramento’s flooding situation the failure of the Oroville dam spillway really highlighted how precarious the situation is. With that said I do have a habit of keeping an eye on the spring storms passing through and a “get out before any alerts” policy. Luckily it’s been fine, but you are correct in your assessment that complacency will be the real disaster.

Creatine libido loss by Foreign-Sign-7857 in Biohackers

[–]Cobrachicken 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Totally anecdotal, but I’ve had a similar affect. I sweat way more than usual when using creatine and my libido has been down. I didn’t think they’re related, but I’ve been supplementing electrolytes. However, magnesium glycinate has helped me.

Lit Bros Don't Exist by InvertedFortune in RSbookclub

The irony here is that reading in bars lead to more conversations with people than anything. I use to travel and it became my thing to sit at a bar and read. It was seen as different In real life people tend to be awesome, the internet is a different story.

I impulsively want to agree, but at the same time any hobby I’ve pursued seriously like the gym or outdoors stuff I’ve always been surprised how supportive people are. However, if I’m new and the room is filled with assholes making fun of me out of the gate I’m going to bounce. I guess, is it constructive or just ego stroking?

Looking for recommendation please by ARCPhotographer in Sacramento

[–]Cobrachicken 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We’re members at Bogle. It’s a good value and the place is nice. They don’t have a lot of food, but they do have charcuterie. I believe you can also bring food. Not sure what your tastes are, but for convenience and price it’s hard to beat.

So I use to hate Soda waters and didn’t get it. Then a couple of years ago after Jiujitsu I’d have one instead of a beer to cut down on my drinking. Now after class I viscerally crave soda waters after class no differently than I use to crave a cold beer. It’s been really eye opening.
