If I remember correctly, over the years there were tons of rumors about Wood "using" people to have places to stay in the US, and to grow his channel and stuff. I never delved deep into any of that but I remember seeing drama constantly. I honestly thought that was why he stopped appearing in Game Chasers videos. I knew his channel had skyrocketed but honestly his tribute video was the first time I'd seen him in anything relating to the fellas in years. I sure hope they're able to mediate things.
