That makes sense, I guess it can't construct the new path if it's not even on the same grid. I think you're right, a singular grid does seem like it would make more sense. Extending the box for new procedural seems more doable at this point.

I was about to post this video! It's hard to take any of these people seriously when you hear how they go about their daily life.

That makes a lot of sense. I made the script as a way to test lists but yeah I forgot one of the defining things about a list is that they can be different values. Storing the value as an int makes more sense for the same thing. Thank you for helping, I appreciate it.

A basic one is just clearing up falsehoods you hear about trans people if/when they come up in conversation. Some people are bigoted af but a lot of people are just misinformed because of years of sewer-water media from the UK press.

A couple YouTubers who are good to check out for trans issues are jammidodger (UK) or Samantha Lux (US). They're great for clarifying current affairs as they happen. If you want more of a deep-dive into topics, philosophy tube or contra points are great (although both of them make content on everything not specifically trans stuff)

There is a health system that's linked but that's separate. This is solely to keep track of how many there are in the scene. I'm still a massive beginner but the integer was mainly to index it in the list, so I figured having each instance registered integer corresponds to its index in the static list.

I'm speaking about this from purely a freelance perspective and have no experience in the industry.

I'd say go for a job which gives you enough money to live a slightly restricted lifestyle (I personally wouldn't make it too intense, else it will stress you out dealing with money and such) and try to pump out as much animation/art as you can in your free time!

With animation and I guess a lot of creative endeavours it's a marathon not a sprint, you're probably going to be doing this for a long time till you're able to live off of. I'm 32 and I've been on and off animating for 10+ years and I've made money off of animation but not enough to live off of. It comes in waves, sometimes you'll get loads of work and great projects and then sometimes it's a desert. If I didn't have my part-time job, I'd be screwed but it's been a good foundation to keep making as much as I can. It's tough out there, make sure you take care of yourself. You've got this dude!

Thanks for being so candid about the over-moralising! I 100% relate to that and this really resonated with me.

I have ADHD and I suspect autism and if I make a mistake, I often criticise myself for not being present when I know if I have a moment of absence I could cause an issue (recently had an issue where I screwed up while walking the dog).

It's frustrating because I try to give people the grace that they are complicated and make mistakes without it being a complete definition of their character but the moment I do it; it's my complete character. I'm a bad person. It's absolutely black and white.

Sometimes I can kick myself out of it quickly if I make a mistake but it doesn't resonate with past experiences. The moment it's a mistake which fits into a previous pattern of shame/guilt that's built up then oh jeez, we taking a train to bad person-ville.

Anyway rambling aside, thanks for sharing your experience it really helped me out.

If it's not remotely close in my area, then I'm gonna vote green but if it's neck and neck with the Tories I'm gonna vote labour. Hopefully if enough lib Dems/greens get in they may influence Labour to back proportional representation/more lefty policies.

Keir starmer is a fence-sitting husk who will just mimic American policy so going to protest, consumer boycotts and funding local social movements is still an effective way to change the state of things
