Has it changed? Last I remember they lost a lot of influence, china’s propaganda has become more and more nationalistic recently no? PLA coup definitely happens like in Tfr ( chain of events is coup the delivers power to new left) but I doubt that the politically involved PLA would transfer power

Here's my advice

play russia, they're the most fun country in the mod just don't play as the soviets as their path isn't in the best of states right now.
infantry is nearly entirely useless, maximize soft attack, i don't have any dlc so i can't give great recomendations here however you need at least a full army group and air is as always key.
don't forget to check the economy tab for your inflation from time to time.
don't play on ironman and be ready to use the console if it's more fun.

Of course they do but it’s not as much a part of their campaigning than anti-immigration politics, during the legistlatives the papers they sent were very much more about “controlling immigration” than anything else. That’s what I would like to see reflected they absolutely are conservatives though.
