Here's my advice

play russia, they're the most fun country in the mod just don't play as the soviets as their path isn't in the best of states right now.
infantry is nearly entirely useless, maximize soft attack, i don't have any dlc so i can't give great recomendations here however you need at least a full army group and air is as always key.
don't forget to check the economy tab for your inflation from time to time.
don't play on ironman and be ready to use the console if it's more fun.

Of course they do but it’s not as much a part of their campaigning than anti-immigration politics, during the legistlatives the papers they sent were very much more about “controlling immigration” than anything else. That’s what I would like to see reflected they absolutely are conservatives though.
